About: Dogs have been a part of my heart and home for as long as I can remember. I adopted my first dog, a spirited Jack Russell-Boston Terrier mix, in 2005, and when I got married, I happily welcomed my husband’s senior boxer into our family. A few years later, an unplanned encounter led us to adopt another boxer puppy—we couldn’t resist her charm! Over the years, our family grew, adding four kids into the mix alongside our beloved dogs. Losing my own dog in 2019 and our boxer shortly after my youngest was born was incredibly hard, but it deepened my appreciation for the unconditional love and joy dogs bring. I was the first in my family to welcome a dog into our lives, and since then, I’ve inspired my sisters and even nieces and nephews to do the same.
