About: I have returned to school to earn my PhD as an adult in my 30s, which means I have both many years of experience with animals and significant flexibility to help out as your schedule requires. I have spent my whole life around animals - I grew up in a house with two cats, a dog (chow chow), and a multitude of fish; I worked for a stint on a farm as a teenager; and as an adult I have two sweet cats! I have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was young, most recently caring for a variety of cats and dogs for friends during work travel, vacations, and weddings. I have experience with cats of all life stages, giving medications, and walking both small and large dogs. I am a PhD student, which means that my schedule is very flexible! (It also means I always welcome study breaks to hang out with your furry friends!) I am available mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including during weekdays and normal business hours. Because I have two cats of my own, I am not able to offer services in my own home at this time. I offer in-home care and dog walking, and am happy to learn from you where your dog most likes to go for walks! I do have a car, and am able to transport pets to walking trails or dog parks if desired, but would only do so with your prior permission.

Besides that, I also attend school virtually, which makes it easy to work around your pets schedule! Mutsuko was a wonderful cat sitter! We couldn’t have asked for anything more. She was kind, attentive, and thoughtful. She meticulously looked after our cat Cheddar’s needs (fresh food, water, litter, etc.) and health. And also considered his emotional well being, playing with him, mixing in various toys and leaving some out in fun places so he could play when she was gone. She gave us wonderful reports which we looked forward to each day. We missed him, but could really enjoy our vacation knowing he was in the best hands. Cheddar really bonded with her, which is just as important as us being happy with her! Her husband Toru is also terrific and his love of cats is evident! We will definitely be using them again!
