We reached out pretty last minute for a trip out of the country for family, and we were so worried because we recently had to put Waffles’ sister down - he hadn’t been alone in 11 years. He’s an older anxious boy, but so incredibly loving. Saloni and her cat Mickey took Waffles in and treated him like family ❤️ He was able to warm up immediately and Saloni was so good with incorporating waffles into her family, and also giving him his own private space. He even had an issue with pain from his gum disease, and Saloni texted us immediately and went to get a refill of his medicine from our vet which was a half hour away (she truly didn’t have to, but she cared for him so much that she did it!). Her kindness in keeping our Waffles comfortable and healthy was genuinely above and beyond, and we are so grateful our sweet boy had such loving care while we were gone.
