About: I'm a very caring animal lover and have been house and dog sitting for years. I've had my dog since she was a puppy so I have the experience to care for dogs of all ages. My dog is extremely active so I dont have any problem keeping up with pets of any activity level. I've been to training with my dog and am able to use the skills I've learned with my dog to any pet. I've dog sat for multiple dogs at once with different health issues and dietary restrictions. I'm very meticulous when it comes to your pet's health including medication regimens and special dietary needs. I treat all animals as if they were my own. My main goal while caring for your pet is to keep your pet safe, happy and healthy. I'm currently traveling to care for my mom in a different state. I do my best to update my rover calendar to reflect my availability in a timely manner. When I'm in New Jersey Rover is my main focus. My goal is to provide your pet with the same enviroment they would recieve at home. We are away from main roads and have access to a fenced dog park.

We like to take our dog and others with us on adventures, walks, and car rides! Our lives are flexible to fit a furry friend in! We use leashes outside for walks, keep gates in front of our doors, and spend majority of our time with your fur babies to make sure they are always safe, happy, and healthy!

“Brianna was very kind to my dogs and made sure I came home to no accidents! With the warm weather we’ve been having she was kind enough to modify our walking routine to make sure the dogs were comfortable, has followed typical feeding schedules, and adjusted to my youngest dog’s needs through his medical issues. I am happy to recommend her as a reliable pet sitter for anyone in need”

About: I know how important it is to find someone you truly feel comfortable leaving your pet with. They’re part of your family, and choosing a sitter is a big decision. My goal is to give you the peace of mind that your pet is safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I’ve been providing pet care for clients for over 5 years and have been a Rover sitter for the past 2.5 years. I’ve also grown up caring for pets throughout my entire life, with about 20 years of experience caring for pets in my family as well as being a cat mom myself now! This gives me a deeper understanding from both perspectives: both the sitter and the owner. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all different ages, personalities, and needs. I really enjoy getting to know each pet individually and learning their routines, quirks, and what makes them feel most comfortable. Whether they’re energetic and love attention, shy and need some time to warm up, or happiest curled up beside you, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. I’m very attentive to their care and routines, and I’ll treat your pet with the same patience, kindness, and care I’d want someone to show my own. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you can see how they’re doing and feel reassured while you’re away. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your fur babies and hopefully become someone you feel completely comfortable trusting with them! 🐾 I currently have open availability throughout the week. I take some remote classes, and do freelance remote work. Additionally, I do have some other freelance work such as figure skating coaching that will require me to leave the home for 3-4 hours maximum, however if your pet needs constant care that is something we can discuss as well! I care for pets based on the owner’s care sheet and schedule! I can easily adjust my schedule to fit their feeding and walking needs.
“Hon walks our sweet dog Maggie 3 times a week. She loves him and he has always been a reliable, kind, and communicative walker for our family. We highly recommend working with him for any of your furry friends’ needs. He is fantastic, and we plan on continuing to work with him regularly for a long time!”

“On very short notice, Boryana was able to step in, take the time to meet me and Yoda before walking and feeding Yoda. She was fantastic! I would definitely use her again and recommend her highly.”

About: I previously worked at Best Friends Pet Care. I worked there for two and a half years! I specialized there as a tiny camp counselor where I monitored a group of small to medium sized dogs for a few hours. I have experience handling, playing with and taking care of dogs from 2lbs to 150lbs, i’ve seen it all! I’ve also dealt with dogs of many ages from puppies to seniors. I have two family dogs of my own and currently have a cat with my partner and am my happiest when caring for fuzzy friends! I’m used to having an animal around 24/7 and wouldn’t have it any other way. I am currently in between jobs after a move. I am now available Monday- Friday anywhere from 10am - 5pm! I have lots of time to be with your fur baby. I can communicate with you on whatever you need for your pets! Whether that involves walks/ medication/ crates/ play time etc. I am open to hearing your dog’s personal needs and helping how I can!
“I couldn’t be happier with our experience! My two 60lb pups can have a lot of energy, but they handled them with total confidence and care. You can tell they genuinely love what they do. I also loved getting updates and photos after every walk. It gave me such peace of mind while I was at work. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable walker!”

“Kaitlyn was prompt to walk Zoey at our scheduled time and made sure she got lots of care while she was there. She provided photos and is extremely communicative before, during, and after the visit. She is reliable and I will certainly have her care for Zoey in the future!”

Linda has been walking my Golden Retriever puppy, Finn, all this week. Linda’s calm, capable & caring energy instantly put me at ease. Finn warmed up to her right away, and now he’s very excited to see her every time she arrives! Linda is reliable, trustworthy, and she prioritizes communication, which is invaluable. I’m happy to have found her, and I highly recommend Linda for all your dog walking needs!

I am so grateful to have found Jessica as a dog walker for my pit mix (Maple) and my chihuahua mix (Chia). You can tell that she really cares and is a true animal lover. Anything that I have told her about them (their training, what is best for them, and what they prefer, etc) has been taken into consideration and applied. Thank you Jessica for being so thoughtful and caring. They are so happy when I come home from work!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
