About: I have returned to school to earn my PhD as an adult in my 30s, which means I have both many years of experience with animals and significant flexibility to help out as your schedule requires. I have spent my whole life around animals - I grew up in a house with two cats, a dog (chow chow), and a multitude of fish; I worked for a stint on a farm as a teenager; and as an adult I have two sweet cats! I have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was young, most recently caring for a variety of cats and dogs for friends during work travel, vacations, and weddings. As a PhD student, my schedule is very flexible, and I always welcome study breaks to hang out with your furry friends! I am available mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including during weekdays and normal business hours. I have experience giving medications, navigating allergies, and working with pets of all life stages. I also have a knack for befriending shy pets, especially nervous cats!
“Kassidy is such a sweet person was so great to my dog! She was so accommodating for me and made me feel at ease knowing my dog was being taken care of in the best manner. I recommend her 100% to anyone and will be using her again for sure!”

“Brianna was very kind to my dogs and made sure I came home to no accidents! With the warm weather we’ve been having she was kind enough to modify our walking routine to make sure the dogs were comfortable, has followed typical feeding schedules, and adjusted to my youngest dog’s needs through his medical issues. I am happy to recommend her as a reliable pet sitter for anyone in need”

“Boryana was wonderful with my dog! She came for a meet & greet to go over everything. During the visit she took such great care of him & sent me photos and updates. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I have loved animals my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Whether it’s an energetic puppy or a senior dog that needs extra patience and care, I am attentive to each dog’s individual needs and know how to read their behavior to make them feel comfortable and safe. I helped train my dog, Moose, and have also cared for my family’s dogs through dog sitting and walking. What sets me apart is the genuine joy I get from bonding with animals. I truly love spending time with dogs and creating a positive, caring environment where they feel happy, comfortable, and loved. I am currently home for a few months before moving to start my full time job, so I have a very flexible schedule. I am available most days with a bit of notice and can accommodate early mornings, evenings, or late nights depending on what works best for you and your pet! I provide attentive and safe care for pets both at home and in clients homes. At home, my dog has a fenced in backyard for exercise and play, and I always supervise him while he is outside. On walks, I use a harness because it is safest and most comfortable option for his walking style. I always pay close attention to a pet’s behavior, comfort, and safety during walks and visits.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
