I have returned to school to earn my PhD as an adult in my 30s, which means I have both many years of experience with animals and significant flexibility to help out as your schedule requires. I have spent my whole life around animals - I grew up in a house with two cats, a dog (chow chow), and a multitude of fish; I worked for a stint on a farm as a teenager; and as an adult I have two sweet cats! I have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was young, most recently caring for a variety of cats and dogs for friends during work travel, vacations, and weddings.

Safety, trust & environment
I am trained in pet first aid and am privately insured. I have experience giving medications, navigating allergies, and working with pets of all life stages. I also have a knack for befriending shy pets, especially nervous cats! Please note the following policies I have in place to ensure the safety of your pet: 1. All pets must be fully up-to-date on vaccinations, and any ongoing medical conditions should be disclosed. 2. Indoor/outdoor cats must remain indoors for the duration of the booking. 3. For cats, I strongly recommend booking drop-in visits at least once per day. To ensure your cat’s wellbeing, I do not accept requests for visits spaced further apart than every other day.

Catrina saved us when a medical issue sidelined our sitter last minute. She couldn't have been more kind and flexible! I appreciate her daily pics of our adorable kitties, who clearly relaxed with her and obviously appreciated her attention. Even my shy tortie came out of her shell! Highly recommend.

Catrina was a great dog walker/dog sitter for Bella. She provided ample updates with pictures and was very communicative. I completely trust her with Bella. Bella is also a big German Shepherd and she was able to walk her and feed her exactly as I would. I would definitely recommend her to take care of your dog.
Catrina is great! My old dog doesn’t walk far, but Catrina took the time to play with him and give him lots of pets.
I hired Catrina to walk Clara 3x per week. Catrina did an awesome job acclimating to Clara and getting to know her and her habits. Catrina is reliable and responsible and takes really good pictures too. I highly recommend Catrina!

Schedule
As a PhD student, my schedule is very flexible, and I always welcome study breaks to hang out with your furry friends! I am available mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including during weekdays and normal business hours.
