About: I'm a very caring animal lover and have been house and dog sitting for years. I've had my dog since she was a puppy so I have the experience to care for dogs of all ages. My dog is extremely active so I dont have any problem keeping up with pets of any activity level. I've been to training with my dog and am able to use the skills I've learned with my dog to any pet. I've dog sat for multiple dogs at once with different health issues and dietary restrictions. I'm very meticulous when it comes to your pet's health including medication regimens and special dietary needs. I treat all animals as if they were my own. My main goal while caring for your pet is to keep your pet safe, happy and healthy. I work Mon-Fri 9-5pm so I only pet sit on the weekends to ensure your furry baby gets all the walks, playtime and attention they deserve. My goal is to provide your pet with the same enviroment they would recieve at home. We are away from main roads and have access to a fenced dog park.
“Kassidy is such a sweet person was so great to my dog! She was so accommodating for me and made me feel at ease knowing my dog was being taken care of in the best manner. I recommend her 100% to anyone and will be using her again for sure!”

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from small puppies to large dogs over 80 pounds. I have helped care for my own dog from the puppy stage into adulthood, giving me experience with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic care, and understanding how dogs’ needs change over time. I also often take my dog on playdates, which has given me experience interacting with new dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and temperaments. I’m comfortable being patient, attentive, and responsible while making sure each dog feels safe, cared for, and comfortable. I recently graduated and have flexible availability before starting my finance job in September, so I have plenty of time during the week and on weekends for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and general care. I have a lot of experience caring for dogs, as well as babysitting young children and providing hospice care. Those experiences have taught me the importance of being responsible, patient, attentive, and trustworthy in someone else’s home. Whether I am caring for a pet or a child, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and positive environment while closely following any instructions provided by the client. I have consistently been praised for being reliable and engaged, making sure both the client and their pet feel comfortable and cared for. I would treat every pet and home with the same level of respect, attention, and care that I would want for my own.

About: Hello all! I have previous experience caring for a hamster and am currently the proud owner of an American Pit Bull Terrier. I’m passionate about training, grooming, and overall animal care, and I’m always refining my skills. I work in healthcare and fitness, so I’m active, hands-on, and detail-oriented. My strong work ethic, communication skills, and personable nature allow me to build great relationships with both people and their furry friends! I have open and flexible weekend availability, and I’m available most weekday evenings as well. I also enjoy working early morning shifts and am happy to accommodate those when needed. I love outdoor walks and playtime—I have stamina for days! I’m also comfortable handling grooming, as I do all of my own pet’s grooming. I’m patient, attentive, and always want pets to feel comfortable, enriched, well-rested, fed, and, most importantly, loved.

About: I grew up with dogs and have been around animals my entire life. As a teenager, I worked at a local dog kennel where I walked dogs, cleaned kennels, assisted the groomer, and helped care for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’ve also owned both indoor and outdoor cats and understand that every cat has its own routine and personality. Over the years, I’ve regularly cared for the pets of friends, family, and neighbors, providing walks, feeding, playtime, litter box cleaning, medications when needed, and plenty of love and attention. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I’ll treat them as if they were my own, making sure they’re safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and happy to send updates and photos after every visit. I currently have daytime and evening availability and can be flexible to meet your pet’s routine. As a mom of two middle school boys, I’m organized and dependable, and I plan my schedule around my family’s activities. Whether your pet needs a midday walk, dinner, playtime, or a check-in while you’re away, I’ll arrive on time and provide the care and attention they deserve. I provide care in your home, where your pets are most comfortable and can stay on their normal routine. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, medications, or litter box cleaning. I understand that every pet is different, and I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect I would my own. You’ll always receive updates and photos after each visit so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“On very short notice, Boryana was able to step in, take the time to meet me and Yoda before walking and feeding Yoda. She was fantastic! I would definitely use her again and recommend her highly.”

“Elizabeth came over to meet our two pups. She spent a lot of time at the meet and greet, was patient with each dog, and said hello to our rabbit. Elizabeth came to walk both dogs while my partner and I were away for dinner. She was on time and there were no issues. We hope to reach out to her in the future. Thank you, Elizabeth!”

“Kaitlyn was prompt to walk Zoey at our scheduled time and made sure she got lots of care while she was there. She provided photos and is extremely communicative before, during, and after the visit. She is reliable and I will certainly have her care for Zoey in the future!”

About: I remember since childhood loving dogs, it’s the realest love there is. I love walking them, training them, giving them lots of cuddles and smooches. The first thing when acting for a dog as soon as you wake up, take them outside. Dogs love nature, sniffing and exploring. I make sure during the time spent with me, they get all the attention required. I make sure I know what they like to eat and what they cannot. I makes sure their leash is on correctly before going on walks and provide a safe environment while in my home.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
