About: I’ve had hands-on experience caring for a family dog for 14 years, giving me a strong understanding of long-term pet care and responsibility. More recently, I cared for a 13-week-old dachshund on multiple occasions, gaining experience with puppies and their specific needs. About: I've been caring for pets for a little over 5 years now. I used to work at a pet store handling fish, birds and small animals as well. I have a 5 year old golden retriever as well as 2 cats. I can help administer medications for dogs and cats that need it. I can also care for elderly dogs and puppies. I don't mind bathing them or doing nail trims either. I'm currently a college student doing online classes so I have plenty of time to drop by a clients house or to have them come to mine. About: Hello! My name is Andrea, and I absolutely love dogs (and, not to brag, but the feeling is usually mutual!). I’m currently home full-time after pivoting from a 24-year career in drinking water safety following my second cancer diagnosis. I’m thrilled to say I’ve been cancer-free for almost three years—and working with dogs has brought me more joy and fulfillment than I could have imagined. Our household includes me, my husband, and two young adult children—one away at college in Texas. We share our home with two lovable pups: Lua, a 10-year-old Boxer/Plott Hound mix, and Nacho, a 9-year-old Basset Hound. We have a spacious fenced-in backyard, and when the weather is nice, we often keep the sliding door open so the dogs can come and go as they please. We love those days when the yard is full of happy pups running and playing—it feels just like our own private dog park! Dogs who stay with us have full run of the house, and they’re welcome to get cozy on couches and beds. If you prefer certain rules for your dog (no furniture, staying off certain floors, etc.), I’m happy to follow your guidelines so their routine stays consistent. In addition to hosting dogs in our home, I also enjoy cat sitting, dog walking, and providing doggy day care when needed. About: I have a pet dog named Johnny who is currently 12 years old. He has been my best friend for half my lifetime. He was there through my teen years, high school, and college. He means a lot to me and I understand how much a dog means to an individual’s life. I have taken care of him on my own numerous times when my parents are away from the house. I give him plenty of attention, especially when he wants a walk. He loves to be petted, played with, and is overall a very friendly pal to hang out with. He is getting up there in age as he does need help getting on beds and other furniture. Johnny has taught me how important it is to take care of dog, yet alone any pet. It is a symbiotic relationship, as they love you just as much as you love them. It is important they get the best care, love, and attention. You provide the best possible experience your pet can ever have. So I will treat your pet like I treat my own, with lots of love! Everyday! It's part of my regular routine with Johnny. I have to feed him, give him walks, pick up his poop, and give him baths. I will do the same with your pet! I'm ideally available any time, I just need a days notice.
