“We went on a 10 day vacation and Chelsea’s communication was great and we know our 3 cats loved her visits. We loved getting updates and pictures and can see they were treated well. So grateful we found someone trustworthy for this trip, it was the longest we’ve been away from our cats and the first time we’ve hired someone. Would definitely recommend Chelsea’s service and will choose her again the next time we need someone to watch our babies!”

“Catrina was absolutely wonderful with Remy and Rosie! From the very beginning, she was kind, patient, and attentive to both of their different personalities. Rosie can be a little shy at first and gets very excited for walks, while Remy is a big sweetheart who loves attention, and Catrina handled them both so well. She followed all of our care instructions, made sure they were well taken care of, and gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We especially appreciated all the updates and adorable photos she sent—they truly made our day and reassured us that our pups were happy and comfortable. It’s clear that she genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. We came home to two happy, relaxed dogs, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Catrina to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and dependable pet sitter. We would absolutely book with her again. Thank you for taking such amazing care of Remy and Rosie! ❤️🐾”

“Sharyn was so great with our cats. It's my first time using this app and she was helpful from day one. We went on a 7 day vacation and she came to feed the kitties everyday. She spent an hour with us so that we could show her where everything for the kitties was. Everyday we received pictures from her and she was very sweet with our cats. Such a sweet lady, she's hired for our next trip. ❤️”

“This was our first time having Ryan and Shannon take care of of pups! They were great, awesome pictures and great communication. Will definitely be using them again when we need dog coverage!!”
“Boryana did a great job looking after my cat (Spike) while I was away! She stopped in daily to take of him. She’s reliable, responsible, trustworthy & a great communicator. She loves animals and she treated Spike like her own. I highly recommend her to take care of your pets while you are away!”

About: I have a full-time job that includes a lot of travel, so please reach out if you’re looking for a day I’m marked as unavailable. I currently work full-time but travel a lot so my schedule changes from week-to-week. My schedule is flexible at night and sometimes during the day. In your home I will do what’s necessary to keep your fur babies happy and comfortable while you are away. I’m happy to sit and cuddle with your senior animal or spend my time playing with young ones.
About: I have been taking care of pets since I was in highschool, when I would dog walk and house sit while owners are on vacation. I have plenty of free time because I’m currently in school for my masters and have a lot of time to care for many pets. I will make sure to ensure there harness is on correctly while I walk pets and make sure the door is closed tight when picking them up .
“Meena has been an absolute god-send to me & more importantly our dog Jackson. Meena truly cares and her approach is professional & loving. Her communication is timely and I really appreciate that our dog, who is visually impaired and a diabetic. is so well cared for when being watched by Meena. I highly recommend her!”

“Abigail completed another great visit with photos of how happy and comfortable my dog was with her. She also went above and beyond with being handy in fixing the gate latch, which recently broke. This shows how caring and attentive Abigail is, and I highly recommend her to other pet owners!”

“Ashley is absolutely incredible! This is our second time using her and she’s been so good! We had an unexpected emergency happen with one of our kittens right before we left and she handled it with such ease and her caring nature with our kitties allowed us to feel comfortable enough to go away knowing the issues would be handled and our cats were in great hands! Thanks Ashley ❤️”

“Nina was extremely caring and friendly with my cat Siwon and a pleasure to communicate with as she was professional and prompt with responses. I felt very reassured knowing that she was our cat sitter while we were on vacation for two weeks. Thanks Nina!”

“Heather did a wonderful job caring for our little dog at our hotel. She came by the day beforehand at no charge to meet our dog and was wonderful. I recommend Heather highly.”

About: I’ve been working with dogs and cats since July 2020 with minor experience in a grooming salon. I’ve always loved animals and decided to start my own dog walking business in February 2022 and have loved every aspect of it. If you’re interested in boarding, please message me before booking. I enjoy getting to know pets and their families and always make time to go over all your needs thoroughly to ensure you can trust to leave your animal with me comfortably. Your dogs needs are always my top priority and will never hesitate to protect your baby in an unsavory situation. I can administer a range of medicine, including insulin and administer fluids, adhere to any dietary and exercise needs, and love going on long walks at the park. Dog walking and sitting is my full time occupation. I am usually walking dogs from 9am-3pm on a daily basis. I have a few families that depend on me daily and some for emergencies or last minute bookings throughout the week. I book most of my stays in advance and recommend that if I cannot leave your dog unattended for at least 4 hours to look elsewhere (sorry!). My calendar is updated daily, please reach out and say hello! I always make sure to meet with a family before confirming a booking. If the booking is far enough in advance I recommend at least 1 or 2 more visits prior to the families departure just to go over basic info, daily routines, and to let your pet get more familiar with me. I’m always happy to stay over night, am very friendly with neighbors, and am a quiet homebody type. I would never invite guests over while you’re gone and always make sure I leave your home cleaner than you left it. Your trust is most important to me and hope you will consider me when booking your next trip!
“I had a really positive experience. Sue came out for a meet and greet a couple days before so my puppy could get to know her. On the days of the service she walked him, played with him, and made sure he got some attention and activity. She kept me updated with photos and messages throughout the visits, which gave me peace of mind. Everything went smoothly and I felt he was well cared for.”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and can’t imagine life without them! I’ve taken care of friend’s pets many times and love every minute of it! I currently work full time but I am remote so I have time early in the day and late afternoon and evening. Available on weekends too! I have a fenced in yard but also walk my dogs. When my dogs were young they were crates so I have experience with that too.
About: I have two dogs of my own and have worked in pet sitting for the last few years. I have experience working with a wide range of dogs from type of breed, age, and size. I am currently in graduate school completing my clinical externship hours at Drexel University. The program runs Monday through Friday. I can do late evenings or weekends. I value following the clients requests for how to care for their pet and prefer meeting with clients before to determine how they care for their pets on a day to day basis so I can follow their schedule as similarity as possible.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in East Windsor. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
