With two young kids and both working parents it was becoming increasingly difficult to take our dog out on all his needed walks. About: I have a full-time job that includes a lot of travel, so please reach out if you’re looking for a day I’m marked as unavailable. I currently work full-time but travel a lot so my schedule changes from week-to-week. My schedule is flexible at night and sometimes during the day. About: I have returned to school to earn my PhD as an adult in my 30s, which means I have both many years of experience with animals and significant flexibility to help out as your schedule requires. I have spent my whole life around animals - I grew up in a house with two cats, a dog (chow chow), and a multitude of fish; I worked for a stint on a farm as a teenager; and as an adult I have two sweet cats! I have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was young, most recently caring for a variety of cats and dogs for friends during work travel, vacations, and weddings. I have experience with cats of all life stages, giving medications, and walking both small and large dogs. I am a PhD student, which means that my schedule is very flexible! (It also means I always welcome study breaks to hang out with your furry friends!) I am available mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including during weekdays and normal business hours. Because I have two cats of my own, I am not able to offer services in my own home at this time. I offer in-home care and dog walking, and am happy to learn from you where your dog most likes to go for walks! About: I have a pet dog named Johnny who is currently 12 years old. He has been my best friend for half my lifetime. He was there through my teen years, high school, and college. He means a lot to me and I understand how much a dog means to an individual’s life. I have taken care of him on my own numerous times when my parents are away from the house. I give him plenty of attention, especially when he wants a walk. He loves to be petted, played with, and is overall a very friendly pal to hang out with. He is getting up there in age as he does need help getting on beds and other furniture. Johnny has taught me how important it is to take care of dog, yet alone any pet. It is a symbiotic relationship, as they love you just as much as you love them. It is important they get the best care, love, and attention. You provide the best possible experience your pet can ever have. So I will treat your pet like I treat my own, with lots of love! Everyday! It's part of my regular routine with Johnny. I have to feed him, give him walks, pick up his poop, and give him baths. I will do the same with your pet! I'm ideally available any time, I just need a days notice. With Johnny, I have to feed him, give him walks, pick up his poop, and give him baths. I have a large fenced backyard that he hangs out at where he does his business and sniffs the surrounding area. I live in a large, suburban neighborhood with sidewalks on both sides of the street. This is where I normally walk Johnny, but I do sometimes take him to a park or the local path.
