“Megan is a guru with animals especially dogs. She took care of my ridgeback when I was on vacation for 2 weeks and I am usually very picky about who I let take care of my pet. Megan is the type of dog sitter to go above and beyond for your pet and not just check in every so often and mindlessly walking your dog. You can tell she loves what she does and is very responsible especially for owners who are particular about what their dogs eats, what times they walk and other common tendencies. The cherry on top is that she years of experience working in companies that specialize in dog grooming and dog sitting so I was worry free when I was away. I would defiantly recommend. 5 Stars.”

About: I’ve mostly owned cats myself but I’ve done some dog sitting/dog walking for family and for work. I love all animals as if they were my own and enjoy having them lighten up my day. I’m currently looking to take on some appointments part time. I’m pretty open for the start of 2025 and may take on more availability as time goes on. I’ve done some dog sitting/dog walking for work in the past and it was a pretty simple process. The more information I have about the pet the better. My appointments usually started with me making my way inside and greeting the pet at the home. Spending some time giving them attention and making sure their set up at home is all good. After a bit I would get there harness and or leash on and make our way outside for our walk. I would pay attention to the dog and talk to them or give them words of encouragement throughout our visit. Make our way around and back to the house where if they needed to be fed I would handle food, give them some fresh water, check out their surroundings and make sure their good before I leave myself. I love being able to foster a relationship with the pets I work with. Seeing them get so excited to see me really brightens my whole day.

My mother-in-law drove by him while he was walking out dogs and she told me he moved them aside (there is no sidewalk) and paid attention to his surroundings. He knows dog behavior so he teaches me about them and why they do what they do. Hands down a true and reliable dog walker.”

Everything, except how Sumona fell instantly in love with Ivy, a rescue dog from Georgia with a mean growl and fearlessness in her snarl. Sumona never let Ivy’s defensive traits deter her from showering her with love. Ivy glued herself to Sumona with an unspoken loyalty and devotion that only a dog can give. With time, Sumona has managed to melt down Ivy’s tough, anti-hero exterior with lots of cuddles and training. Now, Ivy is one of the sweetest dogs and has planted firmly planted her roots in our hearts. All in all, Sumona would not be the same person today without Ivy; and I know that she will show all the Rover dogs the same type of love and compassion.”
