About: Diagnosed with allergies in childhood, I didn’t have pets until in my 20s, when I picked a week-old kitten from a litter & raised him. Thelonious used to walk between my shoulders as I moved around the house, and slept in my bed. Friends told me he behaved more like a dog than a cat—very affectionate. We were very close. His death broke my heart & I still miss him. Seven years ago, I did cat-sitting for a friend whose apartment in NYC I stayed in for a summer while working nearby on Varick Street. He was a very easygoing cat. Years later, my stepson left his dogs at our house & I was their primary minder. I fed, walked & played with them every day. Although I’d been around dogs a lot growing up, it’s one thing to be around them & another to be responsible for them & develop relationships with them. Each of the dogs had a very distinct personality, and I found them fascinating. About: I grew up with dogs and love spending time with them! I’ve helped watch families and friends pets and love being able to spend quality time with them! I’ve helped with dogs as small as malteses and as big as goldendoodles! Ive also helped dogs with specific needs such as blind and older dogs! About: Had three pet Labradors until I was 14. My family moved houses and so we had to give our dogs up for adoption T-T. We got 2 cats and one ran away after 6 months and we never saw him again, he was very adventurous. Then his brother Jason we had him for 5 years until he passed away in 2018 and my mom could not take the pain of having another pet so I’ve been petless ever since but I love animals and visit the SPCA to donate dog food. I am familiar with taking care of dogs and cats and have the basic experience that any loving pet owner should have. I am able to walk with dogs, run with them, play catch, make sure they don’t eat anything toxic, clean up after them etc. I’m also familiar with cats, I can give them attention when they want it and make sure they don’t get up to too much mischief. “We had a wonderful experience! Miryam cared for our two Yorkies in our home for six hours and was attentive, responsible, and genuinely caring. She followed all of our care instructions, including feeding, walks, playtime, and potty breaks. Our 6-year-old Yorkie has some separation anxiety and was a little nervous after we left, but she was patient, gave him the time he needed to warm up, and made sure he was comfortable. She also did a great job keeping up with our energetic 1-year-old Yorkie, making sure he had frequent potty breaks and plenty of active play. About: I have had many different animals in the past my favorite being my Rottweiler scooby I love Him the most but I also had rabbits cats parrots turtles and much more I always had a connection with my furry friends and cant wait to meet yours I'm currently working part time so ill be as attentive as I possible can during my stays with my lovely furry friends.
