My name is Nain and I'm an experienced cat and house sitter. I understand the quirks and whims of cats. I take pride in keeping homes cozy and safe while owners are away. I’m attentive to every detail, whether it’s ensuring food bowls are full, litter boxes are clean, or windowsills are sunny for prime cat naps. As a cat sitter, I ensure your pets are comfortable and well cared for by maintaining their feeding schedules, providing fresh water, and cleaning their litter daily. I’m happy to follow any special instructions and will offer them playtime, affection, or quiet time based on their needs. Please review the "What to Expect" below before requesting a sit. 🐾 Overnight Stays — What to Expect I want every sit to be a great fit for both your cat and me, so here’s a little about how I care during overnight stays: MEALS: I can provide up to two feedings per day. KITTY CAM: I'm not comfortable with any indoor Kitty Cams that capture video or audio for the duration of my stay. I'm happy to unplug when I arrive and plug back in when I depart! Per Rovers policy, please disclose all cameras :) COMMUNICATION: Most of my clients prefer one photo or video update per day, which is also my preferred style. I can provide up to two media updates daily, and I’m always happy to text back and forth in between. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: For overnights, I prefer to sleep in a regular bed rather than a pullout or couch, so I can be comfortable and rested while caring for your cat. MEDICATION: I’m comfortable giving medication if it can be mixed into food (no injections or direct administration). VOCAL KITTIES: A little nighttime meowing is no problem, but if your cat tends to vocalize for long stretches, please let me know ahead of time so I can make sure we’re a good match. WASHER/ DRYER: For sits longer than 3 days, I can only accept bookings in homes with a washer and dryer in-unit. HOME TASKS: I’m happy to take care of light home tasks (mail, trash, a few plants), but please let me know in advance if there are extra household needs. *** 🐾 Drop-In Visits — What to Expect I offer up to two drop-ins per day. For drop-ins, I accept bookings within 10 miles of me. Each visit includes feeding, litter box cleaning, fresh water, and some love/playtime. I provide one photo or video update per visit (maximum two per day if booked for two visits). I’m always glad to text in between for quick check-ins.

Nain is an amazing catsitter! She took excellent care of our kitty, always kept us in the loop on how things were going, and left the house in sparkling condition when we came home. We’d work with her again in a heartbeat.
Nain did an amazing job taking care of our cat, Kiki, with house sitting while we were away. She is very friendly, responsive, and communicative throughout the entire stay. We really appreciated the daily picture updates and the thoughtful notes about how much Kiki was eating, it gave us peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. When we got home, it was clear Kiki had been well cared for and happy. Nain was also very considerate in our home, even leaving fresh, clean sheets for us. We highly recommend her and would gladly book her again!
Nain took good care of our two kitties August and Celeste while we were away for the weekend. Came home to a clean home, she even started the dishwasher and cleaned the bedsheets for us. Thanks again!!
Nain was absolutely wonderful. She has gone above and beyond taking care of my Oscar. She kept me in the loop and always sent me updates. She asked thorough questions and was always just a phone call away if needed. I will absolutely use Nain again for Oscar
Highly recommend Nain! She was a great cat sitter in DC! She took care of our two cats with so much love and attention. The kitties were happy and relaxed and so well cared. Nain was incredibly communicative throughout the stay, sending regular updates and photos that gave us real peace of mind. She clearly loves cats and took the time to bond with both of ours, even our shy one! On top of that, she left our home spotless. It was just so great to have one less thing to do. If you're looking for someone reliable, caring, and truly passionate about animals, we highly recommend Nain. We'd gladly work with her again!
I recently had to go back home to New Jersey for about a week for a family wedding and my cat Kuro had the BEST time with Nain. She left my place so neat and sent pictures and videos every day. She was so communicative and you can tell she genuinely cares about pets which is the most important thing. Would love to have her back next time i’m out!!

I'm a remote marketing professional available for drop-ins and house sitting in households with cats. I'm based in central NJ and am available to care for cats in NJ, PA & NY.

- To ensure the best care for your pet, I’d love to know their dietary needs (meals, treats, allergies), any medical conditions or medications, and your vet’s contact info. Understanding their personality (shy, playful, cuddly) and their favorite toys or activities helps me tailor care. Please share their daily routine (feeding times, litter box habits), preferred hiding spots, and any house rules (off-limits areas, furniture). If they have special quirks or specific instructions, I’m happy to accommodate. The more I know about their needs and preferences, the more comfortable and happy they’ll be while you’re away!
