I live in a neighborhood that is right across from a park, so I’ll be able to take your pet(s) there for some exercise and fresh air! I also enjoy running, so I will work great with an energetic dog who loves to run around!

I don’t have any breed preferences but would like to know if your dog has any anxiety or fears that are triggered by certain situations or environments. This will better help me to keep your dog and other dogs safe while they are under my care. Additionally, if there are any special activities that your dog particularly likes, I’d love to hear about them so we can spend more time doing what your pet loves!
A typical day
I live right down the street from a park, so I can definitely take your dog there to play and run around! If your dog is elderly or unable to run around, I don’t mind staying with them on the lawn outside or walking a short loop around the neighborhood so they can still enjoy the weather and get some fresh air. There are also multiple trails and a towpath in my community so if your pet is highly active and enjoys runs, these would be perfect spots for a daily run!

Pet care experience
I love both cats and dogs! I am very patient with pets who may need a little more time getting used to walks or need a slower paced walk. I’m also very active though, so if your dog is energetic and playful, I would love to go on runs with them or even just play in the park! Punctuality is very important to me, I am usually there early and am responsible with remembering any special instructions that are given. I’ve been doing drop-in visits and dog walking for 8 years. I am comfortable with cats and dogs of all sizes!

Abigail completed another great visit with photos of how happy and comfortable my dog was with her. She also went above and beyond with being handy in fixing the gate latch, which recently broke. This shows how caring and attentive Abigail is, and I highly recommend her to other pet owners!

Abigail is simply amazing! My cat Hooksy is normally quite shy around people new to him. But he positively loved Abigail who fed and played with my supposedly shy boy on all of her visits. Abigail has my highest recommendation!
