Whether it’s daily drop-ins, weekends, or extended stays, your pets will receive attentive, personalized care in a comfortable environment. Available for flexible scheduling. Your pets are in great hands! I’m currently enrolled in a Summer Intensive program for Princeton’s Ballet School but I have plenty of time to play with your pups. I’m available everyday mostly in the afternoon, after 4. Weekends all day. I provide a safe, loving home environment. And could provide regular walks, playtime, proper feeding and grooming. Always attentive to each pet’s unique needs and preferences.
“Catrina was absolutely wonderful with Remy and Rosie! From the very beginning, she was kind, patient, and attentive to both of their different personalities. Rosie can be a little shy at first and gets very excited for walks, while Remy is a big sweetheart who loves attention, and Catrina handled them both so well. She followed all of our care instructions, made sure they were well taken care of, and gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We especially appreciated all the updates and adorable photos she sent—they truly made our day and reassured us that our pups were happy and comfortable. It’s clear that she genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. We came home to two happy, relaxed dogs, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Catrina to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and dependable pet sitter. We would absolutely book with her again. Thank you for taking such amazing care of Remy and Rosie! ❤️🐾”

“I am so grateful I found Kelly on Rover! She was available on Thanksgiving and I was so lucky to book her when I did. She contacted me right away to set up a time to meet me and my pup and I knew immediately she'd be great. She was super communicative, so easy going and just so sweet! We will 100% use Kelly for dog walking in the future!”

“Anne was a great sitter for our pet kitten. She communicated well and left detailed reports with plenty of pictures. She played with him and made sure he was well taken care of. I will definitely be utilizing her again for our next trip.”

About: I have taken care of neighbor's cats since I was 12, providing meals, medicine and love. I have had my own dog for 9 years who I also care for. I volunteered at SAVE animal shelter for 3 years taking care of cats. I just graduated high school so I am free this entire summer before I leave for college in the beginning of September 2026. I work at the YMCA on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-7 but am free the rest of the week. I can easily take care of the pet in my clients home. I have experience doing so; cleaning litter boxes, taking care of the house, cleaning up messes, and more. I can water plants or provide any other house services while the owners are away.
“Kimberly is such an amazing sitter! She is very friendly and easy to communicate. She took great care of my cat Tutu and always share detailed notes and adorable pictures. Kimberly is also a pro at interacting with cat and Tutu loved spending time with her! Highly recommended!!”

“Sha was a really great pet sitter for Kulfi. It was easy to communicate with her even during the midst of the holidays which are a very busy time, and everything went really smoothly. Thank you so much!”

“Scott was a great sitter while we were away for a couple of weeks. Professional, easy to work with, and bonded well with our cats. Will definitely reach out again next time we're away. Thanks Scott!”
“Eliza was great at caring for our cat, two parakeet birds, one betta fish, and two snails for three weeks! Thank you so much, Eliza, and see you next time when we are out of town!”

About: I have two cats of my own who I have taken care of for 4 years! Along with that I frequently walk and dog sit for neighbors who go on vacation! I also volunteer at the nearby animal shelter! I currently only work a part time job some days a week leaving me plenty of time! My work schedule is flexible in case of any emergencies as well! I don’t mind early morning visits or late ones! I’ll follow any instructions given! I’m very patient so if you have a shy pet, no worries! I’ll let them warm up to me no pressure at all! If they want to play, perfect! If they just want to sleep, that’s also okay! I’m super flexible and can adapt to any situation.
“Nina was great with our cat. She is 100% reliable, always showing up on schedule and staying for the full duration of her appointment. She engaged well with our shy cat, and he warmed up to her and began building more trust in her - flopping onto his side, eating when she was here, looking like he was ready to play. We will definitely use her again!”

About: I have always loved animals. Beginning in middle school, I would always volunteer at shelters because I saw the great need for help with so many dogs that had been abandoned or rescued from neglect. and I myself decided to adopt a few of them and give them the life meant for a prince or princess:) I am always vigilant to their wellbeing, I love playing with them, they give so much unconditional love. I love my dogs with all my heart. I currently work with an attorney as a paralegal in Princeton Junction, NJ. I get plenty of breaks during the day, and that’s when I take care of dogs! 🐕 🐕🐕 I can always work around your schedule and your needs. I can dog sit at night, and/or overnight boarding, Saturday and Sunday all day:) I am also available during the day to walk dogs and check up on them❤️ My parents have a big fenced in yard, which is great for my 2 dogs to play around. There’s also a big dog park not far for more playtime and there’s plenty of playgrounds too to take the doggies for a walk.
“Maia was awesome with our kitties - they warmed right up to her. She took very good care, was very responsive and communicative, and took lots of pictures. I’ll be very happy to use Maia again!”

“Jennifer was wonderful with my cats when I had to travel. She was extremely professional, conscientious, and clearly cared a lot about the kitties. Would gladly book again—and she has my highest recommendation.”

“Photo evidence of a great visit with Abigail: my dog smiling and rolling around the grass, showing her belly. Abigail also made the effort for a meet & greet to help my dog feel safe with her prior to the drop-in. Thanks, Abigail!”

“Heather did an incredible job taking care of our cats. She was responsible and communicative. Our travel coincided with the recent blizzard; she adjusted her plans to visit before the storm hit and offered to visit again if we could not make it back in time. Needless to say, we were very happy with the care she provided.”

“I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter. From the very first moment, it was clear that Ella truly understands cats—not just their routines, but their emotions, boundaries, and quiet language. My cats felt safe and genuinely cared for, which says everything. Ella has what I can only describe as soul cat energy: patient, intuitive, and deeply kind. She went above and beyond, not just making sure everything was done, but making sure my cats felt loved. Ella is a true star and a rare find.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
