About: At 12, I began walking Frankie the Doberman. She was a traumatized, recent rescue. During my time with her, she learned how to sit, stay, heel, lay down, and roll over. More importantly, she became sociable and affectionate. Since then, I've had numerous dog-walking and sitting experiences, particularly in college. I feel comfortable with dogs of all sizes and types, including large and exuberant dogs (thanks to my 110 lbs chocolate lab), puppies, shy dogs, inexperienced walkers, and mouthy dogs. Long story short, I love animals and enjoy taking on training challenges. I have a flexible schedule. My daily exercise takes the form of long walks, which dogs are great companions on! I am used to traveling around town with dogs and understand how to handle them indoors- in busy places and in their own homes. I am regularly trusted with the personal spaces of my clients. When I dog-sat in college, I regularly stayed overnight in clients' homes, studied in their living rooms, and was invited into professors' offices to dog-sit while they lectured. About: I love the company of dogs. I'm incredibly comfortable around them. I don't have my own, but I have 2 cats who I cherish and I imagine I would cherish your furbabe(s) just as much for the time I would have them. I have 2 cats! Feeding everyday, scooping litter every other day, replacing water fountain every 2-3 days, and loving them every minute I can between work and on the weekends. I like to offer them as much attention as possible in the form of playing and petting. I am also keen on them eating and drinking properly and making sure their pooping/peeing is regular.
