“I’ve tried many Rovers for the past 5 years, but Thana and Subangi have been the best I’ve found. Their care, kindness and energy with the dogs is unmatched. I’d give them more than 5 stars if I could.”

“Tanvi and her family were wonderful with Dante! I could tell from the photos she sent that he was getting all the love and attention he craves (and he craves a lot haha). Her large fenced yard was exactly what Dante needed, whether romping with Tanvi's pup or just chilling by the pool. He returned home happy and tired after a fun week. We would definitely board with Tanvi again the next time we're away.”

“This is the third time our rescue Rosie has stayed with Mary and John. It is the first time we left her since COVID started though. We were a little nervous on how she would react to being without us since she’s been around us all the time since. It was another great experience, so glad we can go away and feel confident that she will be well looked after. Thank you John and Mary.❤️”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Blawenburg
Chandar is such a kind person, and his love for dogs really shows. My Lagotto can be a little nervous around others, especially after all the changes that came with our move from Colorado. He put her at ease and treated her like one of his own. He spoils the dogs with massages and lovely walks, and sends the most wonderful photos. I honestly couldn’t have found anyone better to look after her. She absolutely loves him and his family.

We had a wonderful experience with Chandar. He took such great care of our furry family member and made sure our dog felt comfortable, happy, and loved. He was reliable, caring, and attentive, and kept us updated throughout, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear he genuinely loves animals and treats them like his own. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pets. We will definitely book with him again!

Chandar and his family are like a second home and family to Ruth. They truly love dogs and care for Ruth as if she’s their own (she’s already had 3 stays with them). And Ruth loves them, too!! They are so good to her and spoil her with belly rubs and miles-long sunrise and sunset walks. Chandar sends professional grade photos of Ruth with beautiful, artistic, and often charming backdrops (e.g., a hot air balloon, Princeton campus, dog zodiac statute). Chandar’s family is so welcoming, warm, and kind and it’s always a pleasure to see them when we drop off or pick up Ruth. They have also been incredibly accommodating, welcoming Ruth on short notice or letting her stay late. So happy that we met them!

Tao's home is beautiful and accommodating to pets. We met his wife and instantly realized this family truly loves to care for dogs. Her questions were catered to my dog's needs. She instantly connected with "Halo" and I just knew Halo would be very well cared for. After his stay, Halo returned happy and content. We will absolutely return again.

Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
