“Melissa and Dan were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Princess Leia. She’s a small terrier and very much a COVID puppy, so she hasn’t had a lot of exposure to other dogs. I was a bit nervous about leaving her while I went out of town for my 50th high school reunion, but Melissa and Dan put me at ease right away. From the start, my plan was to have Leia stay with them for two nights, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They have a lovely fenced yard and several dogs of their own, which created the perfect environment for Leia to safely and gradually get used to being around other dogs. Dan works from home, so I knew she was getting plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. They kept me updated with several photos and messages showing how Leia was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she was settling in well and getting comfortable in their home and with their dogs. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and seemed to have genuinely enjoyed her little “vacation.” I highly recommend Melissa and Dan for dog sitting. Michelle was fantastic! Coco loved the farm; it's smells and all the new things to explore. Michelle was very accommodating to all of Coco needs, which we very much appreciated. We appreciated the daily pictures and updates, which reassured us that Coco was having a great time. We look forward to rebooking with Michelle.
Michelle was very attentive to our two dogs and super communicative and flexible! She communicated me frequently with pictures and updates. She even noticed that my bulldog was licking his paws a lot, they flare up from time to time, and administered ointment to them and was great giving my other dog her medication too. We have a dog that is getting older and is picky with food and she was patient and got her to eat. Our flight was delayed getting back and she offered to stay overnight and/or later if needed. It really put my mind at ease and I loved that she was quick with texts and communication. I highly recommend Michelle as she kept my dogs active, engaged, cared for and sent adorable photos of them too!
