Hi! I’m someone who has truly been around animals my entire life. I grew up caring for horses, dogs, cats, and even chickens, so handling different personalities, energy levels, and needs comes very naturally to me. I have a degree in animal science along with hands-on experience as a vet tech, which means I’m comfortable recognizing health concerns, behavioral quirks, administering basic care, and making sure your pet stays safe and happy. My schedule is very flexible, so I’m able to accommodate a wide range of needs—from midday drop-ins to extended stays. I also have reliable transportation, so getting to you on time is never an issue. I’m very experienced with dog behavior and training, especially using positive reinforcement methods. Whether your dog is high-energy, shy, or needs a little structure, I adjust my approach to what works best for them. At my home, dogs have access to a large fenced yard for safe outdoor time, along with plenty of walks, play, and attention. I also have a very friendly, well-socialized dog who loves having playmates! Macky’s Place is excited to now offer luxurious state of the art in-home kenneling options for our boarding guests! Your pup can choose between staying in home or having their own comfortable, dedicated in-home kennel space for rest and downtime. 🐶💤 We designed these kennels based off dog sitting experience. Over time, we learned how difficult it is for newcomers to adjust to a new house, constant dogs around, new people, smells, sounds, etc. Our kennels offer a new level of security and comfort for new dogs that is unmatched. It becomes their zen safe space. Our kennels include ac/heat, fans, windows, TV, music, and relaxing scents. You’re more than welcome to pack as many goods from home to personalize their kennel as well!
