Hi! I’m someone who has truly been around animals my entire life. I grew up caring for horses, dogs, cats, and even chickens, so handling different personalities, energy levels, and needs comes very naturally to me. I have a degree in animal science along with hands-on experience as a vet tech, which means I’m comfortable recognizing health concerns, behavioral quirks, administering basic care, and making sure your pet stays safe and happy. My schedule is very flexible, so I’m able to accommodate a wide range of needs—from midday drop-ins to extended stays. I also have reliable transportation, so getting to you on time is never an issue. I’m very experienced with dog behavior and training, especially using positive reinforcement methods. Whether your dog is high-energy, shy, or needs a little structure, I adjust my approach to what works best for them. At my home, dogs have access to a large fenced yard for safe outdoor time, along with plenty of walks, play, and attention. I also have a very friendly, well-socialized dog who loves having playmates! Macky’s Place is excited to now offer luxurious state of the art in-home kenneling options for our boarding guests! Your pup can choose between staying in home or having their own comfortable, dedicated in-home kennel space for rest and downtime. 🐶💤 We designed these kennels based off dog sitting experience. Over time, we learned how difficult it is for newcomers to adjust to a new house, constant dogs around, new people, smells, sounds, etc. Our kennels offer a new level of security and comfort for new dogs that is unmatched. It becomes their zen safe space. Our kennels include ac/heat, fans, windows, TV, music, and relaxing scents. You’re more than welcome to pack as many goods from home to personalize their kennel as well! Emma was fantastic - from the way she introduces dogs, to the structured play/rest time and pack walks, the way she set up and takes care of the space (indoors and outdoors), everything is functional and super effective. She answered all my questions and provided several photos and videos throughout the day. I was very impressed and grateful for the positive experience. I was nervous at first, as most doggy parents are, but I trusted her profile and all these reviews, and I can only echo/affirm what everyone else has said.

Emma communicates well and makes sure to be attentive with my dog. My dog was able to run around freely and just be a a dog! My akita warmed right up to Emma and we will definitely be using her again. Thank you Emma!

My first time using Emma and Piper had a great experience. We did a half day doggie daycare to see how Piper would adjust. Piper did great and Emma provided lots of updates and pictures. Emma seems quite knowledgeable regarding dog behavior which totally eases my mind. She answered all my questions and I loved how much time they spend outside.

Schedule
My schedule is super flexible! Week days and weekends. I can do daily or weekly scheduled walks for convenience as well. Early morning or late night visits are ok as well.

I always walk clients dogs with full safety and trust in mind. I treat every animal as if it’s my own and always make sure they are happy and healthy when I leave. I have no problem cleaning up accidents in the house as well.

I always make sure dogs get their needs filled! I know this can vary for every dog, so I always take each dog itself into account. I engage them mentally and physically.
