About: Hello, my name is Jeffrey and I am an Animal Care Technician and Doggy Daycamp Counselor currently working at Best Friends Pet Hotel. I have worked there for over 2 years now as working with animals is my passion. Outside of working at a pet hotel, I have also been responsible for walking, feeding, and giving water to my neighbors dogs as well. About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family was always surrounded by pets. Dogs, turtles, bunnies and even the neighborhood squirrels and deer seemed to know our house was a safe place to visit! I truly believe every living thing deserves love and care, and that's a value that was instilled in me early on. We were never able to have a dog of our own growing up since we lived in a rental, but now that I have my own home, I'm so excited to finally be able to care for dogs the way I've always wanted to. I have hands-on experience. I’ve stayed overnight for two weeks to care for a friend’s dog, handling feeding, walks, and all-around care. My relatives also have dogs of all different sizes and breeds, so I'm very comfortable and confident around dogs of any type. I’ve also cat sat for my close teacher for about a month several times as well. Even when a dog isn't mine, I make it a point to visit, bring treats, and make them feel special and I bring that same love and attention to every dog I care for.
