“We'd definitely book with Kayla again. Super responsive, sends updates/pics, clearly great with animals. We can tell our cat liked her. Gave us peace of mind while we were traveling.”
“Purvi was so great with my dogs, who can be very anxious around people. They took to her immediately! Her tone and manner with them was perfect. I would highly recommend Purvi as an attentive caretaker and good communicator.”

“We had an amazing experience with Jake! From the start, he was extremely communicative, which immediately helped us feel confident and at ease. He followed every request we had for Ollie and his little, it was very clear Jakr genuinely cared about making sure Ollie felt comfortable and happy. We received updates throughout the visit, which we really appreciated, and it was so reassuring to know that Ollie was in such kind and capable hands. Our pup can be a little particular, but seemed like he warmed up quickly, which says a lot about the care and patience he was shown. Overall, we’re incredibly grateful to have found someone so reliable, attentive, and compassionate. We will absolutely be booking with Jake again, and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dog walker who truly goes above and beyond for your furry family member!”

About: I have owned many pets from dogs to cats to bunnies to even a snake. Throughout my life neighbors, friends, family, and others have consistently relied on me to watch and take care of their pets. I also volunteer at animals shelters in my free time and have fostered kittens in the past. I currently work part time with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I am happy to accommodate specific schedules. I am very respectful of other people’s spaces and only hope to make your pets as well taken care of as possible with the instructions given.
About: I’ve always had multiple pets my whole life from a young age, learned responsibilities by feeding, grooming, walking, entertaining, training and medically providing for all my pets and any animal in my care. I have experience working in multiple vet clinics throughout my childhood as I was a pre-vet major up until junior year of college so I have a lot of experience with all kinds of animals and medical knowledge as well. I now have my own dog, Appa, who is 2 that I raised from a puppy and am currently self training. I am currently a phd grad student at vanderbilt university so I have morning classes and lab work, but I live right down the road from campus (less than 5 min drive) and I always come home immediately after my classes/work to be home with Appa. Pet care fits into my daily schedule as I spend as much time as i can working from home so I can be with my dog. I have a 1 bedroom apartment and i live with my 2 year old fur baby named Appa! I have an apt with room for some zoomies and room to play with toys, I have a balcony if they like being outside and my buidling also has a small dog park on the roof with 2 fenced circular yards lined with turf so they can run around at a mini park as much as they want!
“Diana watched our two pups Nellie and Emma in our home for one overnight plus full day. We met Diana at an initial meet and greet and both our dogs immediately trusted her. Our one dog Nellie is a bit afraid / shy usually when she first meets someone but Diana she felt drawn to. So when Diana came to watch our dogs for the full overnight, it was great to see Nellie and Emma thrilled to see her and immediately starting playing with Diana. I received frequent updates from Diana and I felt so comfortable knowing Nellie and Emma were being well cared for. Thank-you Diana for everything! Will definitely be in touch to have you watch them again.”

“Justin was absolutely the best. He sent so many pictures told me what they were doing (my pup beau) even moved my flowers out of the sun as it was so hot he said they were dying stripped the bed and washed the sheets before he left. House was neat and most of all Beau looked great. Thank you Justin”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for over 20 years and currently have two of my own. I have experience volunteering for animal shelters and can handle meds, clean up, walks, or assistance for special needs animals. I am insured with Pet Sitters Associates. While in my care, your fur babies are my highest priority and I will love them as if they were my own! I’m currently on a sabbatical from work and am available most days during the week. After taking care of my own, I am free for walks and play starting at 8:30am until 6pm. Peace of mind, pet safety, and your pets contentment is my highest priority and I will follow the exact instructions provided by the pet owner.

About: When you entrust your pet to me, you're choosing someone whose career has been built on compassion, responsibility, and exceptional care. As a registered nurse with over 12 years of experience, I understand that every living being deserves individualized attention, patience, and a safe, nurturing environment. Caring for others is second nature to me. Throughout my nursing career, I've specialized in caring for seniors and individuals with unique medical and emotional needs. Those same skills translate seamlessly to pet care. Whether your pet is a playful puppy or kitten, a senior needing extra patience, requires medication, has special needs, or simply thrives with extra love and attention, I have the experience and confidence to provide attentive, reliable care. Animals have been a part of my life since childhood, and caring for them has always been more than a job—it's a passion. In addition to nursing, I own and operate my own concierge nursing and pet care business, where trust, professionalism, and personalized service are the foundation of everything I do. I know leaving your pet behind can be stressful. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind by treating your dog or cat like a member of my own family. You'll receive dependable communication, regular updates, and the reassurance that your pet is safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you're away. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all pet care. Every pet has a unique personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel happy, secure, and loved from the moment they arrive. My commitment is to provide the same level of compassion, attention, and professionalism that I would want for my own pets. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work as a nurse three days a week, which allows me plenty of flexibility and dedicated time on my days off to focus on pet care. On my off days, I structure my schedule around the pets I’m caring for by making sure they receive consistent attention, exercise, feeding, playtime, and any needed special care or medication. Because I’m used to working in a caregiving profession, I’m very organized and attentive to routines, which helps pets feel comfortable and secure. My goal is to provide dependable, unhurried care so each pet gets the attention they deserve, whether that’s extra walks, cuddle time, or sticking closely to their normal routine. I provide flexible, reliable, and attentive care both in my home and in my clients’ homes, depending on what works best for you and your pet. I offer drop-in visits, daily care, and overnight stays, as well as boarding in my own home where pets are welcomed into a safe, calm, and loving environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow all instructions closely including feeding schedules, walks, medication, playtime, and any special routines are handled with consistency and care. I prioritize keeping pets comfortable in their familiar surroundings while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible. When pets stay in my home, they are treated like part of the family. I provide a clean, safe, and supervised environment where they receive plenty of attention, affection, and individualized care throughout the day. In all settings, I treat every pet as if they were my own, with patience, respect, and genuine love. I also believe in clear communication, so I provide regular updates and check-ins to give you peace of mind while you're away. My goal is always to ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for at all times.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Voorhees Corner on Rover is $66.6 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 2,905 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Voorhees Corner. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Voorhees Corner walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Voorhees Corner maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Voorhees Corner choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Voorhees Corner. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
