“5 stars is not nearly enough stars to capture how grateful we are that Purvi took care of our two labs, Addy and Stanley, while we took a recent vacation. Our Addy had just turned 15 the week before Purvi came to dog sit, and we were a bit anxious to leave her with anyone. Knowing that she has been having both good days and bad days made us quite nervous to go on vacation. But from the moment Purvi stepped foot in our home for the Meet and Greet, I immediately breathed a sigh of relief. Purvi was just so kind with both of our dogs, and they loved her immediately. Purvi clearly knew that we were worried about Addy, so she consistently reached out at least two times a day while we were away. She made special efforts to let us know that Addy was eating, and although we know she had to clean up after a few accidents, Purvi never once complained. It was so wonderful to receive photos of the dogs throughout our trip. Seeing that they looked perfectly fine helped us to relax and truly enjoy our vacation. About: Hi there, I am new to Rover but all my life I have loved and cared for animals. I got my first kitten when I was five and in my adult life expanded that love and care to dogs. I currently do not have one of my own but I am a volunteer dog walker at an animal shelter. Throughout my adult life I have had wonderful neighbors with whom we have traded dog walking and overnight care with while traveling. Now that I am newly retired I am looking to expand my time and attention to pet parents living in Annandale and Clinton. I am available to drop in, walk and play with your best friend in your neighborhood, and I can stay overnight while you are out of town to keep your dog safe and secure in their known environment. I am also happy to assist with simple chores in your home such as taking care of plants, retrieving mail and any other small but important tasks. I am also willing to board dogs and cats in my home if that is more convenient for pet parents. I am newly retired so have a fairly flexible schedule. I do stay engaged with other activities and travel, so scheduling in advance is very important to me so that when I do schedule care for a pet I want to be sure I have the time to give them the full love and attention they deserve. I am very active for my age in that I run, swim, bike and play pickleball for exercise. Rest assured I am fit enough to handle any dog on a leash. The shelter I volunteer at I deal with a variety of dog personalities and energy levels and adjust accordingly. If you are looking for a pet sitter in your home I can remain in your home for the duration, or if you are just looking for someone to stay overnight with your pet that works too. I am here to accommodate pet parents with whatever accommodations they and their pet are comfortable with. I live on a cul-de-sac with only three other homes on our street. We have a natural, wild area partially in the back and to the side of our home so there is plenty of open space. I have walked many miles throughout my friendly neighborhood streets walking my previous dogs and my neighbor's dog. While in a client's home I am willing to adhere to any schedule the pet parents desire. I am very conscientious of physical security of my property and that of others.

About: For many years, I have been the first choice to care for the pets of friends, family, and other families in my community, ranging from small dogs like a cavapoo to large breeds like a mastiff. On top of that, I have owned and cared for my own pets, currently the mama of a 5-year-old lab, the absolute love of my life! I also have experience with other animals like cats and bearded dragons! I am a teacher from September to June, but I have summers off completely and, as a result, I have lots of flexibility with my schedule. I know how difficult it is for pets when their families are away, so I do whatever I can to make them feel comfortable, safe, happy, and loved! My dogs are my world, and I fully believe that they are members of the family, so I make sure they get exercise, attention, treats, healthy meals, and lots of fresh water. About: I’ve always had multiple pets my whole life from a young age, learned responsibilities by feeding, grooming, walking, entertaining, training and medically providing for all my pets and any animal in my care. I have experience working in multiple vet clinics throughout my childhood as I was a pre-vet major up until junior year of college so I have a lot of experience with all kinds of animals and medical knowledge as well. I now have my own dog, Appa, who is 2 that I raised from a puppy and am currently self training. I am currently a phd grad student at vanderbilt university so I have morning classes and lab work, but I live right down the road from campus (less than 5 min drive) and I always come home immediately after my classes/work to be home with Appa. Pet care fits into my daily schedule as I spend as much time as i can working from home so I can be with my dog. I have a 1 bedroom apartment and i live with my 2 year old fur baby named Appa! I have an apt with room for some zoomies and room to play with toys, I have a balcony if they like being outside and my buidling also has a small dog park on the roof with 2 fenced circular yards lined with turf so they can run around at a mini park as much as they want!
