“Bridget and I were unable to meet, due to a last-minute booking, before she agreed to housesitting with my cat Lily. However, that was not an issue at all because she was very communicative and open with me with any problems in her stay. From the photos that I received, it was obvious that Lily trusted her and enjoyed her company, which is any pet parents first concern. On the last day, although I told her that she did not need to do any of it, she washed the linens from her bedroom, as as well as as the previous sitters bedroom linens, all the towels, the shower curtain, and it was obvious that she had cleaned the bathroom and the kitchen spaces as well. This was above and beyond, but I think it goes to show her attention to detail and her desire to leave your home in the same or better condition than she found it. I would not hesitate to reach out to Bridget again when I have to travel.”
About: I’ve always had a pet in my house! I cared for my mother’s dog full-time during long recovery from back surgery! About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life, specifically senior pets. My family always wanted to give rescues the best golden years. In college, I was an active member of the Rutgers University Seeing Eye Puppy Raiser program, where we trained, raised and boarded/cared for puppies 8 weeks - 1 year old to become potential Seeing Eye dogs. I am often told I am too nice, but sometimes kindness and patience can be what someone needs to be a good caregiver. I have worked at East Memphis Pet Hospital & Resort as a Daycare and Kennel worker, and occasionally perform Vet Tech duties such as administering medication, which has taught me a lot about caring for multiple dogs and adapting to each dogs' individual needs. To be responsible for another life sometimes means that you have to be flexible, I understand if something comes up last minute, it happens; I will be as flexible as you and your dogs' needs. Your dog will be in good-hearted, caring hands while you are doing what you need to do. Your dogs and their home will be safe, you can leave it to me. I will respond to booking requests with 12-24 hours if not immediately. If something doesn’t work in my schedule I will let you know ahead of time unless there is an emergency. I work Freelance from home (remote), so my hours are flexible. I have obligations with other people and clients but I will make any booking done through the app, if they are accepted and scheduled. Failure to contact about a booking before service will result in a cancellation and YOU will be charged a cancellation fee and will take all responsibility for your pet(s). I treat them with respect, I will not hit or discipline them physically, if you instruct me to do so I will decline and cancel the stay or appointment. I do not tolerate abuse or neglect. I will clean up if they have an accident and my motto is to “leave the house roughly in the same state you came/found it in”. I will use your amenities like washer/dryer/sink/shower/dishwasher if I am staying multiple days or overnight. I will do my best to clean up after myself but I cannot conform to all expectations of perfection. Make sure there are no illegal drugs or weapons in the residence (weapons must be away and sealed in a secure location, if any are in the residence) failure to comply with this will result in an immediate cancellation and it will be on YOU.

As I’m currently off for summer break, I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to pet care. I’m available to welcome dogs into my home or provide in-home care at your place through September. I’m happy to give your pets lots of attention, exercise, and love while you’re away! As a lifelong animal lover and educator, I understand how important it is to create a secure, loving environment—whether your dog is staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home. I live near a beautiful local reservoir with a safe walking path that I’ve used with many dogs over the years. I’m very familiar with the area and always remain alert and aware during walks to ensure your pet’s safety. I would never put your beloved pet, another animal, or anyone else in a risky situation. Their well-being comes first—always. As a teacher, safety is second nature to me. I bring that same responsibility and care into my pet-sitting—balancing structure and protection with plenty of fun, love, and tail wags along the way!

About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have 3 dogs and 1 cat who are all rescues and are treated like my children. I have volunteered at animal shelters taking dogs for walks and giving them breaks from their kennels. I have availability early mornings, anfternoons, evenings and weekends. If your pup prefers space or slower socialization, I can easily adjust to meet their needs. In a client’s home, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible — including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and favorite habits — so they feel secure in their own environment. My goal in any setting is to provide loving, attentive care where your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for.
About: I've taken care of dogs as large as German shepherds since I was a kid. I have experience with many different kinds of dogs, as well as cats! I am a special education teacher that is looking to care for your animals this summer season! I am looking for full-time work.
