The dogs are happy and the house was well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Jake. We never leave our dogs with anyone so this was a big deal and we can’t thank Jake enough for making this a great experience.”

Provides daily overviews of the activities, and things done throughout the day (photos included). Not only did he take care of our dogs but was willing to take care of our Ferret and Goldfish and still did an amazing job! About: Caring for animals has always been something that comes naturally to me. I’ve spent years around dogs and other pets, helping friends, family, and neighbors with walking, feeding, playtime, and overnight care. I’m comfortable working with dogs and any animal of different sizes, ages, and temperaments, from energetic puppies that need lots of exercise to older dogs that prefer slower walks and extra care. I always focus on creating a calm, safe, and positive environment so pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. Currently work part time at nights and weekends predominantly so I have morning/daytime availablility during the week while you are at work! Can also do overnights any day of the week. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I always follow each pet’s routine, care instructions, and any special needs provided by the owner to make sure they feel secure and well cared for. I maintain a calm, clean, and safe environment where pets can relax and feel at home. Whether it’s during a walk, a drop in visit, or extended care, I always keep a close eye on pets and make sure they are safe, comfortable, and happy at all times. I’m attentive to behavior, body language, and any changes in mood or energy so I can respond quickly if something seems off. I also make sure pets have fresh water, proper feeding, plenty of exercise or playtime, and lots of affection. Communication is very important to me, so I provide updates, photos, and messages to keep owners informed and reassured while they’re away. My goal is to create a safe, trustworthy experience where both pets and their owners feel completely at ease.

“Bridget and I were unable to meet, due to a last-minute booking, before she agreed to housesitting with my cat Lily. However, that was not an issue at all because she was very communicative and open with me with any problems in her stay. From the photos that I received, it was obvious that Lily trusted her and enjoyed her company, which is any pet parents first concern. On the last day, although I told her that she did not need to do any of it, she washed the linens from her bedroom, as as well as as the previous sitters bedroom linens, all the towels, the shower curtain, and it was obvious that she had cleaned the bathroom and the kitchen spaces as well. This was above and beyond, but I think it goes to show her attention to detail and her desire to leave your home in the same or better condition than she found it. I would not hesitate to reach out to Bridget again when I have to travel.”
