About: Hi there, I am new to Rover but all my life I have loved and cared for animals. I got my first kitten when I was five and in my adult life expanded that love and care to dogs. I currently do not have one of my own but I am a volunteer dog walker at an animal shelter. Throughout my adult life I have had wonderful neighbors with whom we have traded dog walking and overnight care with while traveling. Now that I am newly retired I am looking to expand my time and attention to pet parents living in Annandale and Clinton. I am available to drop in, walk and play with your best friend in your neighborhood, and I can stay overnight while you are out of town to keep your dog safe and secure in their known environment. I am also happy to assist with simple chores in your home such as taking care of plants, retrieving mail and any other small but important tasks. I am also willing to board dogs and cats in my home if that is more convenient for pet parents. I am newly retired so have a fairly flexible schedule. I do stay engaged with other activities and travel, so scheduling in advance is very important to me so that when I do schedule care for a pet I want to be sure I have the time to give them the full love and attention they deserve. I am very active for my age in that I run, swim, bike and play pickleball for exercise. Rest assured I am fit enough to handle any dog on a leash. The shelter I volunteer at I deal with a variety of dog personalities and energy levels and adjust accordingly. If you are looking for a pet sitter in your home I can remain in your home for the duration, or if you are just looking for someone to stay overnight with your pet that works too. I am here to accommodate pet parents with whatever accommodations they and their pet are comfortable with. I live on a cul-de-sac with only three other homes on our street. We have a natural, wild area partially in the back and to the side of our home so there is plenty of open space. I have walked many miles throughout my friendly neighborhood streets walking my previous dogs and my neighbor's dog. While in a client's home I am willing to adhere to any schedule the pet parents desire. I am very conscientious of physical security of my property and that of others.

“5 stars is not nearly enough stars to capture how grateful we are that Purvi took care of our two labs, Addy and Stanley, while we took a recent vacation. Our Addy had just turned 15 the week before Purvi came to dog sit, and we were a bit anxious to leave her with anyone. Knowing that she has been having both good days and bad days made us quite nervous to go on vacation. But from the moment Purvi stepped foot in our home for the Meet and Greet, I immediately breathed a sigh of relief. Purvi was just so kind with both of our dogs, and they loved her immediately. About: My love for animals began when I went to my grandparent's surrounded by their farm animals and pets. Eventually, I got my own chickens, dog, and cats that I take care of every day. About: Im 30 years old, the youngest of three boys. I am a former athlete and current student at RVCC studying dietetics. Growing up we had two golden retrievers( both females so my mom wasn’t alone in that regard). With our first dog Shannon me and my brothers all shared the responsibility of taking care of. After Shannon had passed we felt that there was a void in the family that needed to be filled. That’s when kiely our second golden joined the family. Now at this time both my brothers were out of the house. The responsibilities of taking care of kiely fell upon me and I was more than happy to uphold them. About: I have had dogs and cats all my life, worked at pet shelters, and know how to handle large, small, and any breed of dog/cat I have most of my free time in the mornings to around 3-4PM. I work: Mondays 11-8PM Tuesdays 4-8 Wednesdays 2-8 Thursdays 3-8 Fridays 3-6 Every other Saturday 9-2 Sundays Off.
