About: Hi there, I am new to Rover but all my life I have loved and cared for animals. I got my first kitten when I was five and in my adult life expanded that love and care to dogs. I currently do not have one of my own but I am a volunteer dog walker at an animal shelter. Throughout my adult life I have had wonderful neighbors with whom we have traded dog walking and overnight care with while traveling. Now that I am newly retired I am looking to expand my time and attention to pet parents living in Annandale and Clinton. I am available to drop in, walk and play with your best friend in your neighborhood, and I can stay overnight while you are out of town to keep your dog safe and secure in their known environment. I am also happy to assist with simple chores in your home such as taking care of plants, retrieving mail and any other small but important tasks. I am also willing to board dogs and cats in my home if that is more convenient for pet parents. I am newly retired so have a fairly flexible schedule. I do stay engaged with other activities and travel, so scheduling in advance is very important to me so that when I do schedule care for a pet I want to be sure I have the time to give them the full love and attention they deserve. I am very active for my age in that I run, swim, bike and play pickleball for exercise. Rest assured I am fit enough to handle any dog on a leash. The shelter I volunteer at I deal with a variety of dog personalities and energy levels and adjust accordingly. If you are looking for a pet sitter in your home I can remain in your home for the duration, or if you are just looking for someone to stay overnight with your pet that works too. I am here to accommodate pet parents with whatever accommodations they and their pet are comfortable with. I live on a cul-de-sac with only three other homes on our street. We have a natural, wild area partially in the back and to the side of our home so there is plenty of open space. I have walked many miles throughout my friendly neighborhood streets walking my previous dogs and my neighbor's dog. While in a client's home I am willing to adhere to any schedule the pet parents desire. I am very conscientious of physical security of my property and that of others.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life. At least two dogs for as long as I can remember, but currently (and for quite some time) I have four dogs and two cats. I’ve helped train my pets from puppies and cared for them as senior so I have experience in every aspect of dogs’ and cats’ lives. Ive cared for a coworker’s pets in the past and I’ve worked with horses since I was 8. Animals are my life My weekdays are open, especially once I finish school in mid May. My weekends won’t be free for some time, unfortunately. I’m happy to sit at your home with your pets if wanted, especially during the summer, and I love to take them for walks (I know many good trails) and play with them I wouldn’t want to take pets to my home as it is very full of other animals and I wouldn’t want to overwhelm mine or your pets, however I am happy to care for your pets at your home and I will do whatever needed to make your pets comfortable, especially around a new person

About: Im 30 years old, the youngest of three boys. I am a former athlete and current student at RVCC studying dietetics. Growing up we had two golden retrievers( both females so my mom wasn’t alone in that regard). With our first dog Shannon me and my brothers all shared the responsibility of taking care of. After Shannon had passed we felt that there was a void in the family that needed to be filled. That’s when kiely our second golden joined the family. Now at this time both my brothers were out of the house. The responsibilities of taking care of kiely fell upon me and I was more than happy to uphold them. I know of many parks and trails around this area that are perfect for dogs as well. I am currently working for my mother as an assistant of sorts in her dietetics practice. The hours are flexible so I'll be there for whatever you or your furry friend need. I am easygoing and adaptable. Whatever specifications you layout and accommodations you require, I will oblige. Dogs are a part of the family as thus should be treated so. Whether old or young, sick or healthy, just as you would, I will passionately care for your dog.

About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have 3 dogs and 1 cat who are all rescues and are treated like my children. I have volunteered at animal shelters taking dogs for walks and giving them breaks from their kennels. I have availability early mornings, anfternoons, evenings and weekends. About: I've taken care of dogs as large as German shepherds since I was a kid. I have experience with many different kinds of dogs, as well as cats! I am a special education teacher that is looking to care for your animals this summer season! I am looking for full-time work. As long as I have one to two days heads up, I am good to go to meet your needs with your pets. I will provide your pets with the level of care you would typically provide. About: I have had dogs and cats all my life, worked at pet shelters, and know how to handle large, small, and any breed of dog/cat I have most of my free time in the mornings to around 3-4PM. I work: Mondays 11-8PM Tuesdays 4-8 Wednesdays 2-8 Thursdays 3-8 Fridays 3-6 Every other Saturday 9-2 Sundays Off. I can come before or straight after work, or really whenever i am not at work ◡̈ I take my dogs on 3-4 walks a day, take them to dog parks, take them to starbucks for pup-cups, and my cat has plenty of toys and I spend lots of time with him!

About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind from old to young since I was little. I have watched family dogs, and friends dogs both in the comfort of my own home and gone to spend the night at their houses. I’ve also trained my own dogs throughout the years, including potty training, simple commands, and crate training. I am currently working part-time at my job and stay home with my son. I am mainly home except for the weekends. And on the weekends, my husband will be home to help out. I have a fenced in yard and currently only have one dog of my own who is super friendly and very energetic so she will exercise your dog in our front yard. She loves to cuddle and she is crate trained. I also have an extra crate in case dogs need to be created for whatever reason.
