About: I’ve had pets my whole life. At least two dogs for as long as I can remember, but currently (and for quite some time) I have four dogs and two cats. I’ve helped train my pets from puppies and cared for them as senior so I have experience in every aspect of dogs’ and cats’ lives. About: I’ve been caring for animals for years and love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ve fostered 8 cats and 1 dog to date, helping them adjust to new environments and getting them ready for their forever home. About: Hi there, I am new to Rover but all my life I have loved and cared for animals. I got my first kitten when I was five and in my adult life expanded that love and care to dogs. I currently do not have one of my own but I am a volunteer dog walker at an animal shelter. Throughout my adult life I have had wonderful neighbors with whom we have traded dog walking and overnight care with while traveling. Now that I am newly retired I am looking to expand my time and attention to pet parents living in Annandale and Clinton. I am available to drop in, walk and play with your best friend in your neighborhood, and I can stay overnight while you are out of town to keep your dog safe and secure in their known environment. Our prior sitter bailed on us last minute and Jennifer came through with professionalism on very short notice. She came very prepared and took notes on how we like to have things done. Bridget and I were unable to meet, due to a last-minute booking, before she agreed to housesitting with my cat Lily. However, that was not an issue at all because she was very communicative and open with me with any problems in her stay. From the photos that I received, it was obvious that Lily trusted her and enjoyed her company, which is any pet parents first concern. On the last day, although I told her that she did not need to do any of it, she washed the linens from her bedroom, as as well as as the previous sitters bedroom linens, all the towels, the shower curtain, and it was obvious that she had cleaned the bathroom and the kitchen spaces as well. This was above and beyond, but I think it goes to show her attention to detail and her desire to leave your home in the same or better condition than she found it. I would not hesitate to reach out to Bridget again when I have to travel.
