About: I've been a pet mom to cats and a small senior dog (a Shih Tzu) for several years. I've also been a cat sitter to my friends and family. I have experience in giving medications, cleaning litter boxes, play time, brushing, dog walking, bathing, etc. Rover is my primary source of income so my schedule is completely customizable for clients. While house sitting, I may leave the house up to 4 hours to run errands. I request to do a complimentary meet and greet before committing booking. Please know I may decline an offer if I feel I am not the best fit for your pet. I will follow whatever rules you give me and respect your home environment. The more detailed instructions you give me, the better so I can make your pet as comfortable as possible. I will provide a picture and an update every day. If there is any issue that arises, I will get in contact with you right away. My number one priority is to provide you with the peace of mind that your pet is receiving excellent care and attention.

About: My name is Jennifer R, and I have been an animal lover all my life. I grew up with two cats, one indoor and one indoor/outdoor, as well as a malamute mix, and I now have one dog and five cats that i care for with my family. I have dog sat occasionally throughout my life for family and friends, and I started working professionally with animals in 2017. Through my varied training, I have gained experience with many different animals. I worked at two different boarding kennels where I fed, medicated, groomed, and walked the dogs and cats that were boarding. I began my animal welfare career at an animal shelter in the summer of 2018, and since then I have learned a lot about dog and cat handling, dog training/behavior, medical procedures (i.e. vaccinations), and some information about small animals. I have received some continuing education credits from Maddie’s University in classes for animal behavior. I have also worked at two dog daycares, so I have been trained in canine body language and managing play. I have experience fostering kittens and also fostered a goose! About: I’ve always had multiple pets my whole life from a young age, learned responsibilities by feeding, grooming, walking, entertaining, training and medically providing for all my pets and any animal in my care. I have experience working in multiple vet clinics throughout my childhood as I was a pre-vet major up until junior year of college so I have a lot of experience with all kinds of animals and medical knowledge as well. I now have my own dog, Appa, who is 2 that I raised from a puppy and am currently self training. I am currently a phd grad student at vanderbilt university so I have morning classes and lab work, but I live right down the road from campus (less than 5 min drive) and I always come home immediately after my classes/work to be home with Appa. Pet care fits into my daily schedule as I spend as much time as i can working from home so I can be with my dog. I have a 1 bedroom apartment and i live with my 2 year old fur baby named Appa! I have an apt with room for some zoomies and room to play with toys, I have a balcony if they like being outside and my buidling also has a small dog park on the roof with 2 fenced circular yards lined with turf so they can run around at a mini park as much as they want!
