I also have hands-on experience caring for dogs in my family. I regularly help care for my sister’s two dogs—a 1-year-old Corgi and a 13-year-old English Bulldog. So, I am comfortable with ‘multiple personality’ pooches! I have a chill Chihuahua (hard to believe I know) and a cat. They are very respectful of each other and both easily tolerate other dogs. I work from home Monday through Friday and I’m home most weekends so I am available for spontaneous ‘urgent’ potty breaks, as needed, as well as leisurely strolls throughout the day. About: I have lots of experience with dogs and absolutely love spending time with them — playing, teaching tricks, and taking them on walks. I grew up around dogs and have a real passion for it! I only take one dog at a time, so your pup gets my full attention and focus throughout the stay. I was always under the impression they sat in a corner and missed me with all their tiny hearts, but no - Debbie had them going the whole time! One fell asleep on the drive home due to the days action, the other needed every minute of tthe days action! Her property is amazing! Gorgeous setting only maybe two or three miles from downtown Bernardsville. So much safe space to run and play in. About: Since I was born, I’ve always had dogs! Over my life, I’ve had seven dogs of my own. I currently have 3 large dogs, one medium. Since I was ten, me and my family have been fostering dozens of dogs of all different kinds! Newborn puppies, seniors, and every puppy in between. I’ve dealt with aggressive dogs, skittish dogs, and nervous nellies. I love dogs no matter what! Since beginning to foster, I’ve had to train many dogs, both younger and older. About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and knew I always wanted to work with them. I’ve always cared for the pets I had growing up which included dogs, cats and guinea pigs! I then started watching friends and family members dogs and cats when they were away. One of my first jobs was at a boarding facility where I cared for and walked dogs! I have a flexible schedule due to the fact that I am home everyday caring for my 2 year old son! I would love to bring him along for walks and drop ins! My dog gets walked everyday followed by a relaxing rest stop by the river in our backyard! We love to be outdoors as much as possible!

About: I have worked with animals in a professional capacity for around 2 years, and I’ve had dogs my whole life. I know that every animal is different and I adjust my strategy to provide your pet with the highest quality of care! I currently work full-time Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. I am willing to stay with your pet overnight on work nights as long as your animal will be okay without me during the work day. I am available all day on Saturdays and Sundays. About: I’m lucky enough to have an open schedule, which means your pet will get my full, undivided attention without being left alone for long stretches of time. I’ve taken care of a little bit of everything - dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs - so I’m really comfortable adapting to whatever unique routine your animal needs. My love playing with animals, chilling with them, and just watching them do what they do. One of my biggest strengths is working with pets who are on the shy or anxious side. I know how stressful it can be for them when their owners are away, so I’m incredibly patient. I know how to read their body language, give them the space they need, and just let them open up to me at their own pace until they feel completely safe. I am currently on summer break from college and take care of my own dogs at home. I make sure to give them everything they need from walks to play to just sitting around together. My main priority is keeping a constant eye on your pet and sticking as close to their normal routine as possible. Whether I'm staying at your place or visiting, your pet won't be left alone for long stretches, which really helps prevent separation anxiety. While I'm in a client's home, I will treat it with total respect and keep everything secure. I will make sure that all doors and gates are locked securely every time I leave your home, and I always keep dogs on a leash during walks. Because I have experience with everything from energetic dogs and cats to smaller pets like guinea pigs, I’m very aware of safety and choking hazards, like making sure small items or dangerous foods are out of reach.
About: Im 30 years old, the youngest of three boys. I am a former athlete and current student at RVCC studying dietetics. Growing up we had two golden retrievers( both females so my mom wasn’t alone in that regard). With our first dog Shannon me and my brothers all shared the responsibility of taking care of. After Shannon had passed we felt that there was a void in the family that needed to be filled. That’s when kiely our second golden joined the family. Now at this time both my brothers were out of the house. The responsibilities of taking care of kiely fell upon me and I was more than happy to uphold them. I know of many parks and trails around this area that are perfect for dogs as well. I am currently working for my mother as an assistant of sorts in her dietetics practice. The hours are flexible so I'll be there for whatever you or your furry friend need. I am easygoing and adaptable. Whatever specifications you layout and accommodations you require, I will oblige. Dogs are a part of the family as thus should be treated so. Whether old or young, sick or healthy, just as you would, I will passionately care for your dog.

I have plenty of time to give your pet(s) the playtime, outdoor fun, and affection they deserve! I am dedicated to making sure the animals are happy! I have a huge property of 5.5 acres and two small yorkies to keep your pet(s) company! I have a lot of space, so if your baby is anxious or doesn’t respond well to other doggies i can also separate them from each other. I can give them as many bathroom breaks as needed. I can also walk them around my backyard and around my neighborhood so they can stretch their paws 🐾

She was very calm and not agitated at all coming back from her stay. We had a huge hiccup with car troubles and needed to extend her stay 2 more nights.
