About: My name is Jennifer R, and I have been an animal lover all my life. I grew up with two cats, one indoor and one indoor/outdoor, as well as a malamute mix, and I now have one dog and five cats that i care for with my family. I have dog sat occasionally throughout my life for family and friends, and I started working professionally with animals in 2017. Through my varied training, I have gained experience with many different animals. I worked at two different boarding kennels where I fed, medicated, groomed, and walked the dogs and cats that were boarding. I began my animal welfare career at an animal shelter in the summer of 2018, and since then I have learned a lot about dog and cat handling, dog training/behavior, medical procedures (i.e. vaccinations), and some information about small animals. I have received some continuing education credits from Maddie’s University in classes for animal behavior. I have also worked at two dog daycares, so I have been trained in canine body language and managing play. I have experience fostering kittens and also fostered a goose! I am very open to all sizes and breeds of dogs and cats as well as other types of pets. I hope to give your pets the love they will be missing from their parents while you’re gone! I cant wait to meet you. I am currently off work until late October, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets and cater to their individual needs. About: I have been around dogs all of my life and have experience with dogs of many different breeds and age ranges. Coming from previous experience at a dog boarding facility, I am trained in feeding, handling, and medicating dogs and have worked with dogs of various levels of aggression. Please note that I don't have any experience with cats. This is what I do, so I can be on-call 24 hours for the days that I am available. I have my own dog that I take care of, but I can usually fit your pet into my routine! Please keep in mind that, while I do accept same day booking for some services, any service requested with less than 24 hours notice will come with an additional 50% fee. I currently cannot board dogs since my apartment is not big enough to house more than one dog. When caring for dogs, I make sure to give them the attention and space they require. Please instruct me or provide me with details on how you want your dog to be cared for (and also if your dog has any allergies, I love to give treats!!!)

About: I have experience with both younger dogs and elderly dogs. I have specifically worked with senior dogs, who required special care getting around, keeping track of their medication schedule, and their diets. I'm currently working part time and remotely, so I'll have a lot of time to spend with your dogs. I also enjoy taking walks, so I'll make sure your dogs are getting the outside time they need! I have a large fenced in yard at my home, along with plenty of dog toys. I can also crate your dog if needed. There are also a few trails nearby which are easy and engaging for dogs to walk through.
About: I am a registered nurse by trade but enjoy caring for a various assortment of animals (dogs, cats, snakes/reptiles, birds, fish). Before I became a nurse I was a dog grooming assistant (so if your special pup needs a bath or brushing I can help). I have experience dealing with an assortment of dog personalities and age ranges. Medication administration is also no issue (having prior experience with pills, drops and ointments). I work remotely Monday to Friday and am able to stay or drop in throughout the day given proper notice of the pet’s needs. I am fully capable of providing walks and playtime based on your pet’s requirements as well as accommodate special care such as medication, alternate relieving strategies (pee pads, diapers etc).

About: I have worked at the pet shop in town for almost 5 years. I have learned a lot about nutrition and am here to help with that as well. I have always loved dogs & animals. I have 3 dogs now and use to have cats growing up. I have always helped family/ friends with their pets. My cousins would call me “ the dog whisperer” I am very patient and understanding- a dog sometimes is anxious just like us humans. I think taking time out of the day and using interactive toys is so important for stimulation and keeping them busy. I usually am off on sunday & wednesday. I typically work in the morning until 3pm. Can do walks/feed them/ check in’s on the dogs after work. I have lots of grass outside & a gate inside.I would play with them outside, make sure they have a harness and a longer line ( so they are safe)& take them for walks. I can brush the dogs as well. I do prefer to stop at the clients house. I have 2 dogs at my house - it can be a lot. In the clients house I would first make sure the dog goes outside to the bathroom upon arrival. I would take them for a walk, play with the dogs outside( depending on the gate situation) Make sure they have lots of water, food & i can brush them.

“Bridget and I were unable to meet, due to a last-minute booking, before she agreed to housesitting with my cat Lily. However, that was not an issue at all because she was very communicative and open with me with any problems in her stay. From the photos that I received, it was obvious that Lily trusted her and enjoyed her company, which is any pet parents first concern. On the last day, although I told her that she did not need to do any of it, she washed the linens from her bedroom, as as well as as the previous sitters bedroom linens, all the towels, the shower curtain, and it was obvious that she had cleaned the bathroom and the kitchen spaces as well. This was above and beyond, but I think it goes to show her attention to detail and her desire to leave your home in the same or better condition than she found it. I would not hesitate to reach out to Bridget again when I have to travel.”
