“Joanne was a great sitter, she watched our dogs for two weeks and did an awesome job. Sent updates and pictures and even took one dog to the vet when she showed signs of a UTI.”

“Jenny is awesome! Since this we our (and of course Charlie’s) first experience using Jenny (or Rover.com for that matter) we were so pleased that she sent us updates and photos from his stay. And he came home a happy guy!”

“Ryan did a great job with Spenser. Daily outings, regular updates, and plenty of photos, we always knew our dog was in good hands. When our trip ran four days longer than planned, Ryan didn't skip a beat. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog. Would recommend him to any dog owner without hesitation.”

“Noria continues to be the best pet sitter and dog walker we have had. Nala ( my dog) really loves her and I am comfortable going away and leaving my dog in her care knowing that Noria is very trustworthy, caring and reliable!”

“I hesitate to leave this review for selfish reasons but gatekeeping is not an option. It was clear from the moment we walked in their beautiful home our dog would be well care for by Kevin and Natalie. Teddy is an old boy with anxiety but fit right in without issue. The pictures and updates helped us enjoy our vacation. We will absolutely book again. Thank you both!”

“Tanvi and her family were wonderful with Dante! I could tell from the photos she sent that he was getting all the love and attention he craves (and he craves a lot haha). Her large fenced yard was exactly what Dante needed, whether romping with Tanvi's pup or just chilling by the pool. He returned home happy and tired after a fun week. We would definitely board with Tanvi again the next time we're away.”

“Jim provided excellent care for my pup. I really appreciated his availability when my previous boarding arrangements fell through at the last minute. My pup is a finicky eater and Jim kept me up to date on her feeding habits and asked permission to add tempting meat to her food to entice her. She loves to run at full speed, so his fenced property was ideal. Jim also communicated with me as well as provided plenty of photos during her stay and a video of her socializing at playtime. Thank you Jim!”

“Purvi is amazing with our pup. Always so flexible and responsive. Our dog always has a great time with her and you can tell he has been well cared for. Purvi is very attentive to instructions, we never have any concerns with leaving our dog in her care.”

“Karina was so sweet with our dog for his overnight stay! From the looks of all the adorable pictures she sent, he was treated just like a member of the family! Thank you again, Preston looks forward to coming back soon!”

“I am so happy I found Emily on Rover! She provided updates, pictures, and answered all my questions. My dog has some unique needs and allergies, so I’m thankful Emily took such great care of him. It's very clear to me that she cares so much about her pets too. Thank you for being an amazing caregiver to Bear!”

“If I could leave 6 stars, I would! This was our first time using Meghan and she was amazing. We planned to have her watch our dog from Wednesday to Monday for a long weekend getaway, and then a snowstorm canceled our flight and we ended up being stuck away for 4 extra days. Meghan was so helpful and offered to go buy extra food for our pup since we had only packed him the amount he originally needed, and made us feel so comfortable leaving him there for what turned out to be such a long time. She sent lots of pictures and updates and I could tell my dog was having SUCH a good time. Usually when we pick our dog up from a sitter he is crying and squealing with excitement to see us… this time when we finally picked him up, he literally tried to go back into Meghan’s house and did not want to leave. He’s been depressed ever since we brought him back home… slightly heartbreaking for us LOL but a testament to what a great time he had with Meghan!”

“Whitney and family are kind, communicative, and very accommodating. We felt very comfortable leaving Baily with them and appreciated that Whitney sent us updates and photos throughout Baily's 2-week stay! Considering we booked this stay only days before leaving on our trip (after another Rover sitter cancelled last minute!), we felt extremely lucky that Baily ended up here, where he was loved and well-looked after in our absence! I highly recommend Whitney & Michael.”

“5 star rating for a 5 star dog sitter. Angela took my dogs for long walks daily. let them sun themselves on the back porch, and even let them sleep in her bed. She sent me pictures so I could see how great they were doing and I didn't worry about them for a second. ( I am usually a big worrier- so this was huge!) It's great to feel so at ease when you go away. Plus her house is so extremely clean and tidy (such a plus) and the kitchen area where the dogs hang out is like a bright and sunny doggie paradise with dog beds of all sizes and shapes and lots of toys too. I think they had more fun at her house then they do at mine. I plan on using her many many times in the future. ”

“My dog had a great time! Amy is very helpful and with daily updates and pictures to help us know things are good! Make our away time a lot easier. We would definitely use again in the near future!”

“Extremely happy with Sayak. We had left our dog away for 2 weeks for the first time and worried about how he would react but Sayak took very good care of him. He felt at home at Sayak's house. Sayak used to send daily photos and videos. He replied to my messages almost instantly. I will avail his services again most certainly in the future.”

“Shadow looked to be well taken care of during his stay. Tom took him on some long walks, spent plenty of time playing with him and kept us updated with pictures. We would hire Tom again to watch Shadow.”

“Jake took phenomenal care of both mug pets while I was gone. He McAfee sure that Lark was getting all of her meds and made sure she was eating a she is sensitive to my absence. He was a hot to work with.”

“This was our first time using Rover and Wade was exemplary! We arrived home and our cats were contented and our house was in great shape. Wade skillfully navigated a power outage and some additional tasks and we felt he truly went “above and beyond”. We will definitely book him again when we go out of town”

“Hannah was very communicative, caring, and went above and beyond to take great care of our cats while we were on vacation. She took lots of photos and made us feel at ease with her thorough updates. Was adaptable with my friendly outgoing cat and my shy and anxious one too. A big thank you to Hannah!”

About: Experience with bottle feeding kittens as I raised my kitten from 6 weeks old. Litter box is always spotless, i have cardboard boxes all around for my kitten to play in as well as safe cat friendly toys and furry beds!
“Sarah was excellent with Chase. She followed his routine carefully, communicated clearly, and handled everything with confidence. Chase is a senior tripod and needs a bit of extra support, and she managed his let‑outs, feeding, medications, and mobility needs without any issues. We had an unexpected power outage during our booking, and Sarah immediately stepped in with solutions to keep Chase safe and comfortable. She was flexible, dependable, and proactive throughout the entire situation. Chase was well cared for, and we felt completely at ease knowing he was with her. We will absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend.”

“I felt at ease knowing Meghan was looking after our two cats. She has a great disposition and our cats warmed right up to her. She is very responsive and sent a bunch of photos. We’ll be booking with Meghan again for our next trip if she’s free. Thank you!”

“Kristina was just brilliant with our older cat while we were away. Before our trip, she made time to visit us and Biscuit. We received updates and photos every day, and could see how well they were getting along! At the end, it was obvious that Biscuit had been well cared for, and that she had not been stressed.”

“Sheila is amazing and took great care of my two cats!! She’s able to accommodate my last minutes appointment request and easy to communicate. I can feel she really likes and enjoys spending time with my cats! I am so glad I found her and looking forward to asking for help in the near future! Highly recommend her!”

“Shannon is an awesome pet sitter. She always kept us informed of how our cat was doing, with daily pictures too. Her love for pets clearly shows in how she conducts herself. We will absolutely ask Shannon to watch our cat again, and look forward to a long lasting relationship!”

About: I’ve always had a pet in my house! I cared for my mother’s dog full-time during long recovery from back surgery! I have always had deep connections to animals and am patient but eager to gain their trust. I have accommodated for a wide range of furry personalities and I am excited to meet more animals over the summer. I am a college student home from campus all summer so I’m looking forward to spending some time in the sun getting some energy out with your pets! I am available Monday-Friday though weekends may vary! I can accommodate for a variety of environments. I have played with a group of dogs in a wide fenced in yard, as well as taking them to the dog park. I have a large fenced in yard with a deck to soak up the sun and get our sillies out. I also have a scenic park at the end of my cul-de-sac perfect for stimulation! I am happy to utilize whatever accessories and environments you find most suitable and comfortable for your pet! I am comfortable dressing your dogs in their harness and leash with ease and engaging in their favorite locations to explore!
“Bridget and I were unable to meet, due to a last-minute booking, before she agreed to housesitting with my cat Lily. However, that was not an issue at all because she was very communicative and open with me with any problems in her stay. From the photos that I received, it was obvious that Lily trusted her and enjoyed her company, which is any pet parents first concern. On the last day, although I told her that she did not need to do any of it, she washed the linens from her bedroom, as as well as as the previous sitters bedroom linens, all the towels, the shower curtain, and it was obvious that she had cleaned the bathroom and the kitchen spaces as well. This was above and beyond, but I think it goes to show her attention to detail and her desire to leave your home in the same or better condition than she found it. I would not hesitate to reach out to Bridget again when I have to travel.”

About: Im 30 years old, the youngest of three boys. I am a former athlete and current student at RVCC studying dietetics. Growing up we had two golden retrievers( both females so my mom wasn’t alone in that regard). With our first dog Shannon me and my brothers all shared the responsibility of taking care of. After Shannon had passed we felt that there was a void in the family that needed to be filled. That’s when kiely our second golden joined the family. Now at this time both my brothers were out of the house. The responsibilities of taking care of kiely fell upon me and I was more than happy to uphold them. I know of many parks and trails around this area that are perfect for dogs as well. I am currently working for my mother as an assistant of sorts in her dietetics practice. The hours are flexible so I'll be there for whatever you or your furry friend need. I am easygoing and adaptable. Whatever specifications you layout and accommodations you require, I will oblige. Dogs are a part of the family as thus should be treated so. Whether old or young, sick or healthy, just as you would, I will passionately care for your dog.
“From the reports and Rover card photos Izzy really enjoyed Emma's company, and despite being a shy cat, he came out and let her brush him right away. She made me feel comfortable leaving Izzy in someone else's care for the first time. I will definitely book her for my next trip, if she's available.”

“I highly recommend Monica! She kitty sitted for my special babies and exceeded my expectations! She treated them as if they were her own. Extremely responsible and communicative and I will definitely be hiring Monica again!”

About: I have experience caring for cats with different personalities, from very playful and social to shy and independent. I understand that every cat is different, so I always take the time to learn what makes them feel comfortable and safe. I’m patient and gentle, especially with cats who may be nervous or need time to warm up. What sets me apart is how attentive I am to each cat’s behavior and needs. I pay close attention to changes in mood, eating habits, or energy levels, and I make sure to follow your instructions closely. I’m also experienced with basic care like feeding routines, litter box cleaning, and keeping their space clean and stress free. I always have cat treats on me (with your permission) to help build trust, especially for cats who may be a bit anxious or shy. I love engaging cats with play using their favorite toys, but I also respect their boundaries if they prefer their own space. Whether your cat loves attention or is more independent, I make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away.
“Asia & John were once again great! They watched our cat while we were on vacation. We have used them several times now, and it is comforting knowing our Bella is well taken care of every time. We are lucky we found them!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the deep, lifelong bond I’ve had with dogs and my genuine passion for caring for them. I grew up with my beloved Maltese, who was a part of my life for many years and truly shaped my love for animals. As a teacher, I bring patience, structure, and lots of heart to everything I do—including pet care. I treat every dog like one of my students: with kindness, respect, and a deep commitment to their well-being. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a gentle senior dog, I adapt to their needs, provide consistent care, and ensure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I live near a beautiful local reservoir with a safe walking path that I’ve used with many dogs over the years. I’m very familiar with the area and always remain alert and aware during walks to ensure your pet’s safety. I would never put your beloved pet, another animal, or anyone else in a risky situation. Their well-being comes first—always. As a teacher, safety is second nature to me. I bring that same responsibility and care into my pet-sitting—balancing structure and protection with plenty of fun, love, and tail wags along the way!

I have an 8-year-old friendly, well-mannered dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member. My home features a large fenced yard where dogs can enjoy supervised playtime, outdoor breaks, and exercise in a secure environment. Since I work from home, your pet will receive plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. I accept only a limited number of pets at a time so I can provide personalized care and ensure each dog feels comfortable and well cared for. Whether your dog loves to play, relax, cuddle, or simply stay close to people, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and at home. I understand that every dog is unique, and I’m especially patient with pets who need slower introductions, extra reassurance, or a structured routine. During your pet’s stay, I’ll send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. Whether you need daycare or overnight boarding, my goal is to provide a loving, stress-free experience for both you and your pet. I’d love to learn more about your dog and see if we’d be a great fit. About: I have lots of experience with dogs and absolutely love spending time with them — playing, teaching tricks, and taking them on walks. I grew up around dogs and have a real passion for it! I only take one dog at a time, so your pup gets my full attention and focus throughout the stay. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can walk your dog in the early morning, during lunch, and in the late afternoon/evening — basically as needed throughout the day. I live in a house with my sweet two-year-old daughter, who is gentle and great with animals (no grabbing or rough play!). Because of this, I’m looking to care for friendly, calm dogs who are comfortable around kids. If your pup fits that description, I’d love to give them a fun, attentive stay full of walks, play, and maybe even a new trick or two!
“Purvi is amazing!!! From the first moment of meeting her, I could see right away that she loves dogs and dogs love her. I 10/10 recommend Purvi and will definitely be rebooking her for the future!”
“Rylee absolutely enjoyed her stay. Kumud is so good and caring, and she sure takes care of dogs like her own. I was shared continuous updates about Rylee and how she was doing. Thank you Kumud, I was able to focus on my day peacefully knowing you were taking so good care of my furry baby Rylee.”

“Mariya was a fantastic sitter for Phin. My guy got along great with her dog, and he was happy and well cared for all week. They have a beautiful fenced yard for the dogs to run in, too, which is great for my high energy pup.”

“Josephine’s first stay with Pardeep was seamless. Pardeep was very accommodating with my schedule and provided a safe, calm, enjoyable day for Jo. He kept me up to date on her as the day went on and that is always reassuring. His dogs were friendly and respectful which I greatly appreciate due to Josephine being a senior. I would gladly recommend him and will seek his care for Josephine again soon.”

“We were desperately looking for a dog sitter at the last minute and was so happy to find Emma! I have a senior dog who has one eye, partially deaf and she was amazing with him. My other dog a lab, who is full of energy found a new friend, their dog Mack! If I could give her 10 stars I would! Thank you Emma!”

We really appreciated the regular updates, photos, and little notes about how he was doing. It’s clear that Katie genuinely cares about the pets she looks after, and Hatchi came back relaxed and well cared for. “Jake helped us with mid-day visits for our dog while we were away. He made sure she got outside for playtime (even in the rain), had fresh water afterward, and was settled back in before leaving. He was very friendly and responsive, and our cat enjoyed a little attention from him too, which was appreciated! We were grateful to have Jake's kind care this past week.”

About: My friends and family call me Tom Care-a-lot, Tom the Mom, and The Dog Whisperer. I am often told I am too nice, but sometimes kindness and patience can be what someone needs to be a good caregiver. I have worked at East Memphis Pet Hospital & Resort as a Daycare and Kennel worker, and occasionally perform Vet Tech duties such as administering medication, which has taught me a lot about caring for multiple dogs and adapting to each dogs' individual needs. I have also worked for GoDog West Nashville and Morris Animal Inn. To be responsible for another life sometimes means that you have to be flexible, I understand if something comes up last minute, it happens; I will be as flexible as you and your dogs' needs. Your dog will be in good-hearted, caring hands while you are doing what you need to do. Your dogs and their home will be safe, you can leave it to me. I will respond to booking requests with 12-24 hours if not immediately. If something doesn’t work in my schedule I will let you know ahead of time unless there is an emergency. I work Freelance from home (remote), so my hours are flexible. I have obligations with other people and clients but I will make any booking done through the app, if they are accepted and scheduled. Failure to contact about a booking before service will result in a cancellation and YOU will be charged a cancellation fee and will take all responsibility for your pet(s). I treat them with respect, I will not hit or discipline them physically, if you instruct me to do so I will decline and cancel the stay or appointment. I do not tolerate abuse or neglect. I will clean up if they have an accident and my motto is to “leave the house roughly in the same state you came/found it in”. I will use your amenities like washer/dryer/sink/shower/dishwasher if I am staying multiple days or overnight. I will do my best to clean up after myself but I cannot conform to all expectations of perfection. Make sure there are no illegal drugs or weapons in the residence (weapons must be away and sealed in a secure location, if any are in the residence) failure to comply with this will result in an immediate cancellation and it will be on YOU.

“Kristina has been there for me and my pup a few times now and has been awesome. Completely reliable and a true dog lover. Goes above and beyond bringing in packages and letting me know when my fish tank alarm started beeping. I have had to be away from home a lot recently and it’s been easier to do knowing Kristina was looking after my dog.”

“Meghan has been absolutely wonderful!! She goes above and beyond to care and love our puppy, Daisy!! She always leaves detailed reports, so many great pictures and checks in with me! I don’t have to worry at all knowing she’s taking care of our little girl! Thank you Meghan!!!”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life. At least two dogs for as long as I can remember, but currently (and for quite some time) I have four dogs and two cats. I’ve helped train my pets from puppies and cared for them as senior so I have experience in every aspect of dogs’ and cats’ lives. Ive cared for a coworker’s pets in the past and I’ve worked with horses since I was 8. Animals are my life My weekdays are open, especially once I finish school in mid May. My weekends won’t be free for some time, unfortunately. I’m happy to sit at your home with your pets if wanted, especially during the summer, and I love to take them for walks (I know many good trails) and play with them I wouldn’t want to take pets to my home as it is very full of other animals and I wouldn’t want to overwhelm mine or your pets, however I am happy to care for your pets at your home and I will do whatever needed to make your pets comfortable, especially around a new person
About: Hi, I’m Bridget—a lifelong animal lover with a heart for providing the same care and attention to your pets that I’d want for my own. Whether it’s a quick walk or an overnight stay, I’ll make sure your furry friend feels safe, loved, and entertained. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels- I have had animals all my life—from playful pups to mellow seniors. I’m patient, dependable, and always attentive to the unique needs of each pet. You can count on me to follow your instructions closely, send regular updates, and treat your pet like family. If you're looking for someone who will go the extra mile—whether it’s a longer walk, belly rubs, or just sitting quietly with a shy pet—I’m your person. I’m here to give you peace of mind while you’re away and make your pet’s day brighter. Let’s set up a meet and greet—I’d love to connect with you and your four-legged best friend! I live and work at the same place, which gives me the flexibility to provide dependable and attentive care for your pet throughout the day. I travel too often to have one of my own, and I truly miss the love and companionship animals bring. Caring for pets through Rover fills that gap in my life while allowing me to be a reliable, scheduled support for you. Whether it’s morning walks, evening check-ins, or weekend stays, I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and right at home. In my home, your pet will enjoy peace, safety, and plenty of love on 88 beautiful acres with no other animals or children around. My house is clean, calm, and organized—ideal for pets who need a quiet, stress-free environment. I tailor care to each pet’s unique needs, whether that means long walks, playtime, medication, or just cuddles and companionship. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel secure and comfortable while you're away.
“I booked with Natalie super last minute and she was an absolute life saver!! She walked both of my boys, made sure they were taken care of and spent time with them, we would highly recommend!!”

About: I've taken care of dogs as large as German shepherds since I was a kid. I have experience with many different kinds of dogs, as well as cats! I am a special education teacher that is looking to care for your animals this summer season! I am looking for full-time work. As long as I have one to two days heads up, I am good to go to meet your needs with your pets. I will provide your pets with the level of care you would typically provide. Will not just pop in and pop out - will provide TLC 😺
“Tierney was great with our dog! Gave us a detailed report card and sent some awesome pics that showed Mona-Lisa had a great time on her walk. Would definitely recommend to someone else and will be using her in the future.”

About: I have had dogs and cats all my life, worked at pet shelters, and know how to handle large, small, and any breed of dog/cat I have most of my free time in the mornings to around 3-4PM. I work: Mondays 11-8PM Tuesdays 4-8 Wednesdays 2-8 Thursdays 3-8 Fridays 3-6 Every other Saturday 9-2 Sundays Off. I can come before or straight after work, or really whenever i am not at work ◡̈ I take my dogs on 3-4 walks a day, take them to dog parks, take them to starbucks for pup-cups, and my cat has plenty of toys and I spend lots of time with him!
About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind from old to young since I was little. I have watched family dogs, and friends dogs both in the comfort of my own home and gone to spend the night at their houses. I’ve also trained my own dogs throughout the years, including potty training, simple commands, and crate training. I am currently working part-time at my job and stay home with my son. I am mainly home except for the weekends. And on the weekends, my husband will be home to help out. I have a fenced in yard and currently only have one dog of my own who is super friendly and very energetic so she will exercise your dog in our front yard. She loves to cuddle and she is crate trained. I also have an extra crate in case dogs need to be created for whatever reason.
About: I have worked at the pet shop in town for almost 5 years. I have learned a lot about nutrition and am here to help with that as well. I have always loved dogs & animals. I have 3 dogs now and use to have cats growing up. I have always helped family/ friends with their pets. My cousins would call me “ the dog whisperer” I am very patient and understanding- a dog sometimes is anxious just like us humans. I think taking time out of the day and using interactive toys is so important for stimulation and keeping them busy. I usually am off on sunday & wednesday. I typically work in the morning until 3pm. Can do walks/feed them/ check in’s on the dogs after work. I have lots of grass outside & a gate inside.I would play with them outside, make sure they have a harness and a longer line ( so they are safe)& take them for walks. I can brush the dogs as well. I do prefer to stop at the clients house. I have 2 dogs at my house - it can be a lot. In the clients house I would first make sure the dog goes outside to the bathroom upon arrival. I would take them for a walk, play with the dogs outside( depending on the gate situation) Make sure they have lots of water, food & i can brush them.

“Awesome! Jean, is excellent! We left our 7-year-old Labradoodle for the first time with Jean for an extended weekend. She treated Simba as if he was her own dog and sent us pics of their wonderful time together multiple times a day. Simba loved it and felt at home. We are so glad we found Jean as she will be our go-to person moving forward.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent experience! Lupe was fantastic with our dog! He was very communicative throughout the stay, sending daily updates with pictures and videos that gave us total peace of mind. It was clear he’s experienced and genuinely caring — our dog was relaxed and happy when we got back. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would definitely book with him again! Highly recommend it!”

“Shaun is wonderful with our 5 year old golden. He takes such good care of her, lots of walks, attention, and play, as well as sends us frequent update and photos! Thank you!”

“Maureen and her family were amazing and took such great care of our boy. I received videos And pictures daily and sweet little messages. Will definitely be using her again and referring those who are in need of a sitter they can trust. Thank you Maureen ?”

“Sarah is the perfect sitter. She is caring and attentive and has a wonderful setup. Her dog, Luka, is friendly and got along well with Ulla. I recommend her highly, and we will use her again. Thanks Sarah!”

“Bryan and Jacquelyn took great care of our dog Lucy. They gave us daily updates and pictures. Lucy was allowed on their couch and bed and from the pictures felt like she was very comfortable and felt right at home. We would highly recommend commend them and will book them next time a need comes up for us and if they are available.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the deep, lifelong bond I’ve had with dogs and my genuine passion for caring for them. I grew up with my beloved Maltese, who was a part of my life for many years and truly shaped my love for animals. Over the past 20 years, I’ve cared for the dogs of friends, family members, coworkers, and even my pastor—building a reputation as the reliable, loving go-to pet sitter in my community. As I’m currently off for summer break, I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to pet care. I’m available to welcome dogs into my home or provide in-home care at your place through September. I’m happy to give your pets lots of attention, exercise, and love while you’re away! Safety, trust, and comfort are at the core of how I care for every pet. As a lifelong animal lover and educator, I understand how important it is to create a secure, loving environment—whether your dog is staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home.

“This is my 4th time using Ekaterina and her family and they are all so wonderful! They are the only people I trust to leave my Loretta with. She constantly sends pictures and updates. My Loretta gets endless love, kisses, and snuggles with her children! If you want the best possible care and love for your pet, please go with Ekaterina!”
