“I adopted my dog Nomi at the end of 2025 and knew I had a lot of rehabilitation ahead of us since she is highly fearful and skittish. Nomi came from a hoarding house in Puerto Rico where 100 animals were removed from the property. I learned about Carly during a search on Rover and was pleasantly surprised when I discovered we both love mixed breed dogs from PR. Today was the first day since Nomi's adoption that she stayed with anyone other than myself. I decided on a half day of daycare and was thrilled with how well Nomi did with Carly, her family and dog Naia. I received photos and updates during the day which put my mind at ease. About: I’ve been taking care of my special-needs pup, Dottie, for 8 years. She’s on a strict diet and takes meds too, so I’m good with following precise instructions. I have a loving and serene home where Dottie and I can welcome your pup. I work from home on Fridays, so I am available for boarding for long weekends. We could coordinate a Thursday evening drop-off if need be. On the weekends, I go to a pilates class and run errands, but am otherwise around as company for the dogs. My yard is only partially fenced, so I will be taking the dogs on leashed walks. Dottie sleeps in bed with me, so it’s okay if your pup needs to as well. If your dog is crate-trained, that is okay too.

About: I love the company of dogs. I'm incredibly comfortable around them. I don't have my own, but I have 2 cats who I cherish and I imagine I would cherish your furbabe(s) just as much for the time I would have them. I have 2 cats! Feeding everyday, scooping litter every other day, replacing water fountain every 2-3 days, and loving them every minute I can between work and on the weekends. I like to offer them as much attention as possible in the form of playing and petting. I am also keen on them eating and drinking properly and making sure their pooping/peeing is regular.
