“Savi was and is the best dog-sitter we have had in the 10 years of having Toby. She not only kept us frequently updated without asking but treated Toby like family. He came back looking excited and happy - you can’t ask for anything better than Savi!”

“I couldn’t even possibly describe all my happiness in one post. They are the most phenomenal sitters! This was my first time using rover and they were so kind and described the process. From the meet and greet to the drop off and pick up all with ease. They sent so many pics!! And it truly put me to ease. They made me feel like I was leaving my dogs with family instead. I will definitely be working with them in the future without a doubt! And we love their dog Neo and their wonderful family!! The thought you put into taking care of them was just amazing!!!”

“Kristen R was an excellent sitter! She was kind, easy to work with, and communicated frequently throughout the stay, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Dropoff and pickup were straightforward, and everything about the boarding experience was a breeze. Most importantly, my dogs came back happy and with no issues. Would absolutely book with her again and recommend her to anyone in the area!”

“Davina and her family were so good to Arnie I was afraid he may not come home! Very proactive and responsive communication and pictures so you know your fur baby is happy! She even made homemade doggy treats and personalized each dog’s initial! Beyond exemplary!”

“Megan did a wonderful job looking after my dog Flicker. She created a safe and fun environment where Flicker could be very comfortable. Although Flicker was shy at first, Megan made him feel right at home with new friends and even got this picky boy to eat! I really appreciated her daily updates with pictures. I would gladly leave Flicker with her again.”

“I can't say enough good things about Dipali & Sunny! They took such wonderful care of my Momo and made the entire process stress-free. From the moment I dropped Momo off, I could tell they genuinely cared about my dog’s happiness and well-being. Momo came home happy, healthy, and even a little spoiled! Dipali kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and warm personality made all the difference. “My hubby is working in the area. I flew in from GA to visit him, so that we could drive to Canada to celebrate our 10th anniversary. He travels with our dog and we needed a safe home away from home while we travel. Ivelisse was great with our fur baby! Love had just been diagnosed with a UTI and she was very attentive, even giving us helpful recommendations on how to prevent further ones. She sent regular updates and we could tell that Love enjoyed the stay as well. We are thankful that Ivelisse was able to accommodate us on such short notice. Thanks for treating our dog like family! We definitely recommend her and would use her again!”

About: I grew up with dogs and love spending time with them! I’ve helped watch families and friends pets and love being able to spend quality time with them! I’ve helped with dogs as small as malteses and as big as goldendoodles! Ive also helped dogs with specific needs such as blind and older dogs! I work remote one day a week so I’m happy to watch dogs or take them out, I just need a heads up to pick the day I work from home. I also typically work 8-4:30 so I’m happy to take dogs out in the mornings before work or as soon as I get home! I’m also happy to do weekends. I have a fenced yard for any pet to wander around in and am happy to walk them around my neighborhood park! No other pets in the home!
“I have a 12 yr cockapoo who requires daily medication. Noria has been our overnight sitter since April 2024. She only takes one dog in addition to her own sweet Milo. Noria is incredibly kind, smart, professional, loves dogs and has a gentle/loving way in interacting with my Kobe. She has been truly a blessing to find! My family and I are assured that when we leave Kobe for an overnight with Noria that he is being cared for as if he is part of her family. Kobe can be an anxious dog and slow to warm up to people. She has a patient and playful disposition. From the first time he met her he was happy, calm and it was evident that he felt secure in her care. The medication and feeding instructions have always been followed and understood. We appreciate the photos she sends and the updates as to how he is doing. Noria is a genuine individual who has been a complete joy for our family to work with. We are so happy that she has been caring for Kobe. When we go away we know he looks forward to his time with Noria and Milo!”

Having been a dog owner for more than 10 years, I am skilled in head scritches and belly rubs, and am not scared of slobbery kisses or getting dog hair on my clothes.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - West Windsor
Anish & Aaheli were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel comfortable leaving our dog in their care. I especially appreciated the frequent updates and photos throughout the day—it was reassuring to know he was happy and being well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend them and would happily book with them again!

I adopted my dog Nomi at the end of 2025 and knew I had a lot of rehabilitation ahead of us since she is highly fearful and skittish. Nomi came from a hoarding house in Puerto Rico where 100 animals were removed from the property. I learned about Carly during a search on Rover and was pleasantly surprised when I discovered we both love mixed breed dogs from PR. Today was the first day since Nomi's adoption that she stayed with anyone other than myself. I decided on a half day of daycare and was thrilled with how well Nomi did with Carly, her family and dog Naia. I received photos and updates during the day which put my mind at ease. I felt a sense of trust almost immediately. I will definitely be asking Carly to watch Nomi again. Thank you so much Carly! 😊🐶

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
