About: I’ve taken care of neighborhood dogs and cats for many years. Services include boarding, walking, feeding, playing etc. I can clean litter boxes and administer medications, as needed. I currently work full time but can fit your pet care needs into my schedule. I’m available before work (before 7:30am) and after work (after 4pm). I have a fenced in back yard for your dogs to run around in. I’m also available to come to your house for walks, feedings, or a simple check in.
“My husband and I agree that Chasity has been a GODSEND We were getting on our apartment renovated and anticipated having her watch our baby for two weeks… Two weeks turned into six and we could not have chosen a better person to watch our little guy. She is so sweet and caring and took great care of him. She lets him play with other dogs that visit, but only takes nice dogs so we were never worried for a second. She has a great yard that allows the dogs to go out and play all day weather permitting. I can’t believe how happy he looks in the photos she sends! When we visit he is so so happy. Would 20 out of 10 recommend her and we will absolutely be using her again in the future.”

“Casey loves Catherine and it’s so nice knowing she’s happy and in good hands when staying there. I appreciated the updates and know Casey enjoyed her stay. We had some issues with her foot prior to our visit and Catherine was great to accommodate what we needed for her. She’s quick to respond and flexible; which is much appreciated. We would highly recommend Catherine!!”

“Nams has a calmed demeanor that instantly connects with pets. Snowy immediately knew she was in a safe and friendly environment. Very professional. I would definitely recommend her.”

“Kiana is great and Ted loved his stay. It’s obvious that Kiana loves animals and treats them like they’re her own. She kept us updated with photos and videos, which my kids especially loved. Kiana is the best!”

“This was our first time using a pet sitter for Shibu (a Shih-Tsu) as we took our 3 week vacation. We couldn't be happier with how well Kimberly took care of her. Kim sent us regular pics and Shibu looked always active and happy, so we knew she was being well cared for. she has a fenced in backyard which is a major plus. Would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter.”

“Albie had a great stay with Anwar! He looked happy and content in the photos Anwar sent while we were away, and he even came home with noticeably improved mealtime manners. We would definitely send Albie back to the “farm” again!”

“We’re lucky to have our dog stay with Brandon! Brandon is very caring ! He sends us daily updates and pics of my dog. And our dog got along well with Malo too. We really appreciate that Brandon took good care of our dog. Highly recommended! We definitely will rebook !”

“Kate did an amazing job taking care of my baby kitten, Bella! She provided frequent updates, which gave me peace of mind, and it was clear my kitten was in great hands. Her care and attention to detail were exceptional, and I truly appreciated her reassurance throughout. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Awesome kept us up to date with pictures while we enjoyed our vacation. Great communication and availability went the extra mile for us and Zeus came back to us happy and healthy. ??❤️”
“We had only had our adult dog one month before needing a dog-sitter for a week. Katie met us at a dog park, bringing Mason, her dog with her. Our impression of both Katie and her dog was very positive. Katie is a good communicator, and answered our questions. Her home was dog friendly. She was able to confidently assure us that she would have no problem giving extra affection if our dog was a bit needy. She sent us pictures daily and was responsive when we reached out to her. We plan on using her services in the future.”

“Kristen was an absolute gem to work with! She sent me pictures of my dog everyday and was very responsive. My dog had an excellent time and seemed to be taken care of very well!”

“Sonia took great care of our pet snowy. Glad that we found her close to our home in SB. She constantly follow up with day to day updates. Funny snowy eat his food at Sonia’s care better then we is. Will be reaching her back into the future for snowy care. Thanks Sonia and appreciate your help for snowy. Enjoyed meeting you and your family via this opportunity.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot say enough wonderful things about Thana and Subangi. They stepped in during a true emergency involving my elderly mother, and their kindness and flexibility meant more to me than I can express. They picked up Gigi right away and kept her for as long as we needed, completely removing one major worry from an already stressful situation. From the very beginning, they were in constant contact — sending thoughtful updates, pictures, and videos that reassured me Gigi was safe, comfortable, and happy. What stood out most was how genuinely they welcomed her into their home as if she were their own dog. You could see in every photo how relaxed and loved she felt. That level of warmth and care is rare. If you are looking for responsible, compassionate, and communicative dog sitters, Thana and Subangi are truly exceptional. I would trust them again in a heartbeat. 💛🐾”

“I would give Lisa more than 5 stars If I could! My dog sitter cancelled on me 2 1/2 weeks before my vacation. Needless to say I was in a bit of a panic. After reaching out to many other sitters who couldn’t watch Rocky, I came across Lisa. We weren’t able to have an in person meet and greet, so we talked on the phone. I knew from that conversation that Rocky was going to be well taken care of. Lisa and her family treated Rocky like family! She took pictures daily and she always kept we updated on how he was doing. I would highly recommend Lisa! 😊”

“Dhara and her family were friendly and caring hosts for our little man Mr. Darcy. That includes their pooch “Coco” who was playful and not territorial with a visiting doggie scampering around the house. Dhara sent plenty of updates and photos during Mr. Darcy’s visit as of an upcoming longer stay. The stay could not have gone better, and we’re very confident and comfortable leaving Mr. Darcy in the caring hands Dhara and her family going forward. Its clear that they’re “dog people” who care.”

“Really amazing family to leave your pet with! Thank you so much for all you’ve done to help with watching our cat while we were away. Highly recommended, A++++!”

Mary and John did a great job watching my Chloe while I was out of the country. Their updates gave us peace of mind that she was in good hands and their backyard was a great bonus for her to get extra outside time as we live in an apartment. Overall we definitely see us booking with them again for boarding.

I adopted my dog Nomi at the end of 2025 and knew I had a lot of rehabilitation ahead of us since she is highly fearful and skittish. Nomi came from a hoarding house in Puerto Rico where 100 animals were removed from the property. I learned about Carly during a search on Rover and was pleasantly surprised when I discovered we both love mixed breed dogs from PR. Today was the first day since Nomi's adoption that she stayed with anyone other than myself. I decided on a half day of daycare and was thrilled with how well Nomi did with Carly, her family and dog Naia. I received photos and updates during the day which put my mind at ease. I felt a sense of trust almost immediately. I will definitely be asking Carly to watch Nomi again. Thank you so much Carly! 😊🐶

Meena is very knowledgeable about dog care and made Aussie feel welcomed and comfortable. It was first time Aussie was away from home and in company of other dogs, he being reactive puppy I was a bit worried but she managed him well and he seems to have socialized well. Thank you
On a last minute request, Jhonny took care of both my dog and my mom’s dog. He did not require a meet and greet which was extremely helpful as we were kind of in a bind. Ultimately, Jhonny came across as genuinely caring about the animals, and we couldn’t be happier with how our pups came home. It was like they never left. Highly recommend.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
