Amber and her family came through for me for a last-minute, same-day holiday (4th of July) booking, and they were great from start to finish! Very friendly, helpful, responsive, and flexible and seemed to attend well to my Sienna -- following my various tips and even going lengths to ensure, with her being an older dog, that she wouldn't be out in the heat during walks for too long and was protected by the outside fireworks that first night! Amber also shared some text and picture updates throughout the stay, and her and her husband for were very reassuring both during drop-off and pickup regarding Sienna's care. They were so great that I ended up extending the sit to an extra day, originally scheduled for just one, and they were very accommodating in my doing so. Sienna seemed to like them well, and I think they liked her -- I definitely would book again whenever we're back in this area again!!”

About: I have been taking care of cats since I was 9 years old. Cats are like my children and they could do no wrong. About: I’ve looked after and walked dogs of all ages and sizes ever since I was in middle school. Their happiness and unconditional love brings me joy. I particularly enjoy taking dogs out early in the morning and on hikes. I recently finished grad school and will begin working full time in July. I have some free time now to house sit and go on a few walks a day. I’ve dog sat for my classmates in Berkeley multiple times in apartments and homes. About: I’ve been around dogs for over 10 years and have owned two dogs myself, so I understand the care, attention, and patience pups need. I’ve also helped walk and care for several extended family dogs over the years. Friends and family always consider me a “dog person,” and dogs naturally seem to warm up to me quickly. About: First and foremost, I love our furry little friends! I have a beautiful 4.5 year old Bluetick Coonhound/German Shepard mix named Scarlet & she is the love of my life. We love relaxing & snuggling together, walking, running, playing with a soccer ball & of course she loves being chased around with her toy. She is well trained unless she’s being her stubborn hound self! I also grew up with 3 cats and a Beagle/Chihuahua mix, which was my first dog at 17. Even at that age I would take her on walks in the park or neighborhood, plays games with her & give her all the love she wanted. She was a feisty one with medicating but she trusted me the most in doing it. I’ve worked at an animal clinic for over 8 years. I am well trained with medicating pets, senior pets & nervous/anxious pets. Even though my days during the week are filled with meeting new dogs/cats or seeing my favorite patients, there’s always room for more love to give! I work full time during the week at the animal hospital (Monday-Thursday) but I am available on weekends for those that work or have plans :) I make sure the pet’s collar/leash are well secured on them so there is no chance for them to get loose while on a walk. I will make sure all gates are closed. As part of being a vet tech I am trained in trimming nails & expressing anal glands, as well as knowing if there is an issue that needs to be addressed by a doctor. If your pet has any specific medical, food or behavioral needs I am very experienced to assist! :)
About: I have experience in dog walking, dog sitting, and overnight care at the owners home. I have worked multiple dogs into a days schedule and I also have experience caring for cats. I'm a retired special education teacher with lots of free time. I do travel some, but I'm very flexible depending on one's need. If I'm free, I'm available. We currently have no pets. About: I’ve been around dogs for over 10 years and have owned two dogs myself, so I understand the care, attention, and patience pups need. I’ve also helped walk and care for several extended family dogs over the years. Friends and family always consider me a “dog person,” and dogs naturally seem to warm up to me quickly. I love spending time with animals, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just keeping them company, and I’m excited to meet more amazing pups through Rover! During the school year, I balance classes with a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time for dog walks and check-ins, especially on weekends. In the summer, I have even more availability and regularly fit dog walks, playtime, and pet care into my daily routine. I’m used to spending time with my own dogs before and after work or other responsibilities, so making sure pets get attention, exercise, and companionship is already a natural part of my day. I always aim to make pets feel comfortable and safe in their own home by sticking closely to their normal routine. I’ll follow any instructions carefully, whether that includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, or crate routines. I’m respectful of clients’ homes, keep things clean and organized, and make sure pets get plenty of attention and care while you’re away. I also like to send updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for.
