About: I go the extra mile for the dogs in my care. I have over 12 years experience fostering dogs with special medical needs so giving medications or IV fluids is not an issue. I only feed holistic food and treats and purchase toys made in the USA. I will treat your pets like they were my own. I love to exercise and run so if your dog is active, I am the sitter for you. My own pets are very friendly to other dogs I can separate your dogs from my own. My cats and caged pets are kept away from the dogs so interaction is not an issue if your dog does not like them. About: First and foremost, I love our furry little friends! I have a beautiful 4.5 year old Bluetick Coonhound/German Shepard mix named Scarlet & she is the love of my life. We love relaxing & snuggling together, walking, running, playing with a soccer ball & of course she loves being chased around with her toy. She is well trained unless she’s being her stubborn hound self! I also grew up with 3 cats and a Beagle/Chihuahua mix, which was my first dog at 17. Even at that age I would take her on walks in the park or neighborhood, plays games with her & give her all the love she wanted. She was a feisty one with medicating but she trusted me the most in doing it. I’ve worked at an animal clinic for over 8 years. I am well trained with medicating pets, senior pets & nervous/anxious pets. Even though my days during the week are filled with meeting new dogs/cats or seeing my favorite patients, there’s always room for more love to give! I work full time during the week at the animal hospital (Monday-Thursday) but I am available on weekends for those that work or have plans :) I make sure the pet’s collar/leash are well secured on them so there is no chance for them to get loose while on a walk. I will make sure all gates are closed. As part of being a vet tech I am trained in trimming nails & expressing anal glands, as well as knowing if there is an issue that needs to be addressed by a doctor. If your pet has any specific medical, food or behavioral needs I am very experienced to assist! :)
