I’m currently an undergraduate student in college, and so over the summer between semesters I have a much more open schedule. I’m available over the week during the afternoon and evenings over summers, and on weekends throughout the semester!

An animal’s boundaries are very important to me, and I am very meticulous when it comes to making sure everything that needs to be done gets done. I always keep you updated with plenty of pictures of your fur babies!

Let me know if there are any specific behaviors you’d like me to be aware of in your pets, or any special needs they may have. I am comfortable with all dog breeds, but it’s very helpful to know the energy level of the dog, and things they do or don’t like (like petting around the face or belly rubs!) The information helps me make sure your dog is as comfortable as possible.

I love having fun with animals whether that’s running around with them in a yard, throwing a toy for them to chase, or taking them on fun and fulfilling walks where they are safe and happy.

I’ve had pets in my home ever since I was born, and have always helped with pet care since I was able to. I’ve owned dogs of different sizes and all ages, cats, and many small animals! I have experience not only with my own pets but with taking care of family members’ pets when they leave for vacations or other extended absences, as well as ongoing weekly volunteer work taking care of shelter cats and kittens. Being able to read an animal’s behavior to understand when they are anxious, happy, or unwilling to be touched is extremely important to me and something I have learned over the years being surrounded by animals. Ensuring an animal’s comfort and building trust is as much of a priority to me as ensuring their safety and health.

Amia was great with my two cats! Very responsive, professional, and sent lots of pics from the visit!
I have had Amia as a dog walker for a year now regularly, twice a week. She is incredibly caring, sweet, and reliable. My dog Mimi loves her and is excited to see her each time. She is also very thorough, asks great questions and when my dog was a puppy she’d clean up her messes without even being asked. She’s a true gem!!!
Amia is wonderful. with my older female dog and my girl just loves her. Amia is always timely when showing up for walks, extremely pleasant, professional,.and very careful and accommodating to my pets needs. She is trustworthy and gentle with my dog, who responded positively from the moment she met Amia. I recommend her highly.
