“Catrina was absolutely wonderful with Remy and Rosie! From the very beginning, she was kind, patient, and attentive to both of their different personalities. Rosie can be a little shy at first and gets very excited for walks, while Remy is a big sweetheart who loves attention, and Catrina handled them both so well. She followed all of our care instructions, made sure they were well taken care of, and gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We especially appreciated all the updates and adorable photos she sent—they truly made our day and reassured us that our pups were happy and comfortable. It’s clear that she genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. We came home to two happy, relaxed dogs, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Catrina to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and dependable pet sitter. We would absolutely book with her again. Thank you for taking such amazing care of Remy and Rosie! ❤️🐾”

About: I love furry friends! I’ve taken care of friends’ and relatives dogs and cats since college. I am happy to help you fulfill any of your pets’ needs! I am a teacher during the school year, so I bring patience, reliability, and enthusiasm to pet care. I’m a full time teacher during the school year, so in the summer I have plenty of availability on weekdays mornings, daytime, and evenings. I am also available for pet sitting or walking many weekends. I respect your home by closely following your pet care instructions including any special diet or behavior needs. I have also gone through no harm dog training with my dog, so I am fully at ease dealing with dogs that range from chill to anxious or reactive. As for cats, I am an introvert who is good at reading animal body language, so I will make sure to treat them with care while giving them their personal space.
About: I've been caring for the pets of my family and friends for years, and I'm ready to give them a lot of love and care as they need it. Besides dogs, I'm also experienced in caring for cats, small animals, and chickens. I'm currently on summer break having just graduated from high school, so I have almost unlimited time to take care of your pets and a lot of flexibility. I'm active and can give your pet some lively exercise and play if needed, but I also have experience with older dogs and skittish dogs who need a gentler touch.
“Sha was a really great pet sitter for Kulfi. It was easy to communicate with her even during the midst of the holidays which are a very busy time, and everything went really smoothly. Thank you so much!”

“Kelly was wonderful! My shy, nervous dog was so comfortable with her (3 minutes into the first meeting, Cocoa was completely at ease with Kelly). Kelly communicates really well, so you always know when she's stopped by and how the visit went. I returned home to a happy, and well-exercised, dog. I highly recommend Kelly.”

About: I have taken care of neighbor's cats since I was 12, providing meals, medicine and love. I have had my own dog for 9 years who I also care for. I volunteered at SAVE animal shelter for 3 years taking care of cats. I just graduated high school so I am free this entire summer before I leave for college in the beginning of September 2026. I work at the YMCA on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-7 but am free the rest of the week. I can easily take care of the pet in my clients home. I have experience doing so; cleaning litter boxes, taking care of the house, cleaning up messes, and more. I can water plants or provide any other house services while the owners are away.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, including two Labrador Retrievers named Maverick and Goose, and a Beagle that I cared for over 10 years, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines, exercise, and understanding different personalities. I’ve also done several overnight house-sitting and dog care jobs, working with a wide range of breeds, from small dogs like pugs to larger, high-energy dogs like huskies. I’ve always had a genuine love for animals and caring for them. The first animal I really fell in love with was a manatee when I was about 5 years old living in Florida, and that kind of stuck with me. My time as a kid was spent at the beach boogie boarding out into the ocean hoping a dolphin would find me and become my friend. Growing up, I loved going to the aquarium and the zoo to learn about different animals, and I’ve always been especially drawn to red pandas and stingrays. That curiosity and appreciation carries over into how I care for pets—I really enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality and making sure they feel safe and happy. In addition, I have a lot of hands-on caregiving experience through taking care of my brother who has special needs, as well as working with special needs youth. That’s taught me to be patient, attentive, and very in tune with individual needs, which I bring into how I care for animals as well. Pet care honestly fits into my routine really naturally because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to. I have a part-time job in the mornings and some evenings, so I have a lot of flexibility during the day to spend quality time with dogs—whether that’s going on long walks, stopping by for visits, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I grew up with dogs and took care of my Beagle for 10 years, so I’m very used to building my day around their needs. It doesn’t feel like a task to me—it’s something I love doing. Being around dogs, getting outside, and making sure they’re happy and cared for is something I naturally make time for every day. I focus on making pets feel comfortable, safe, and at ease by sticking closely to their normal routine. I know how important consistency is, so I follow feeding schedules, walk times, and any specific instructions carefully. When I’m in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and make sure their dog is always supervised and within my sight. I pay attention to their behavior and energy so I can respond to what they need, whether that’s a long walk, playtime, or just relaxing together so they don’t feel alone. If I’m caring for a pet in my own home, I create a calm, safe environment where they get plenty of attention, exercise, and downtime. I really just try to treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel happy and cared for the whole time.
About: Experienced with both large and small dogs, as well as senior dogs. My last dog was a husky, so I’m no stranger to dogs with high exercise needs as well! Looking forward to helping your family (both furry and otherwise!) this summer. ***From 8/14 - 8/31 I have open availability! I have left my general availability outlined below, but I will be available all day/night Monday-Sunday for the next two weeks.*** General Availability: I currently work part time Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I can be very flexible to meet your needs Thursday-Sunday, and am available for early morning and/or late evening care Monday-Wednesday. I am currently unable to care for pets in my own home, but am happy to feed, walk, play with, or just keep an eye on your pet in your home.
“Katrina was wonderful with my cat when I was out of town for over a week. During that time the a/c went and she alerted me and stayed while the repairman fixed it. I will definitely be having Katrina take care of my cat in the future.”

“Xingcheng (Connie) looked after my two boys, Bobby and Jack, for 14 days while I was traveling, and she is hands-down the most reliable and best cat sitter I have ever had! She connected with them instantly, played with them regularly, and sent me tons of daily pictures and videos. I always felt completely at ease knowing they were in such excellent care. She gave me regular updates on their food and kept the litter box spotlessly clean. Communication was fantastic throughout the entire stay, so I always knew exactly how they were doing. I will definitely book with Connie again and highly recommend her!”

“Maia was awesome with our kitties - they warmed right up to her. She took very good care, was very responsive and communicative, and took lots of pictures. I’ll be very happy to use Maia again!”

“Keiko is amazing! She took such great care of my 3 kitties and did a wonderful job overall. She was extremely patient with my cats, took wonderful photos, and had great communication during and after each visit! She made me feel very comfortable leaving my cats in her care while I was away. I truly appreciated her going above and beyond and all of her help. Thank you Keiko!”

“WOW! Kim is an absolutely exceptional cat sitter! Fantastic communication, super thorough care, wonderfully kind to our kitty, and honestly she should consider a second career as a pet photographer! We consider ourselves lucky to have found her, will absolutely book her again, and highly recommend her to one and all!”

About: I have always loved animals. Beginning in middle school, I would always volunteer at shelters because I saw the great need for help with so many dogs that had been abandoned or rescued from neglect. and I myself decided to adopt a few of them and give them the life meant for a prince or princess:) I am always vigilant to their wellbeing, I love playing with them, they give so much unconditional love. I love my dogs with all my heart. I currently work with an attorney as a paralegal in Princeton Junction, NJ. I get plenty of breaks during the day, and that’s when I take care of dogs! 🐕 🐕🐕 I can always work around your schedule and your needs. I can dog sit at night, and/or overnight boarding, Saturday and Sunday all day:) I am also available during the day to walk dogs and check up on them❤️ My parents have a big fenced in yard, which is great for my 2 dogs to play around. There’s also a big dog park not far for more playtime and there’s plenty of playgrounds too to take the doggies for a walk.
“I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter. From the very first moment, it was clear that Ella truly understands cats—not just their routines, but their emotions, boundaries, and quiet language. My cats felt safe and genuinely cared for, which says everything. Ella has what I can only describe as soul cat energy: patient, intuitive, and deeply kind. She went above and beyond, not just making sure everything was done, but making sure my cats felt loved. Ella is a true star and a rare find.”

“It was our first time having Abigail do a drop in. She was wonderful with our dog, walked him and fed him. Abigail is super responsive, punctual, responsible, and affectionate with Hudson. We will definitely be asking her to come look after Hudson again!”

“Heather did an incredible job taking care of our cats. She was responsible and communicative. Our travel coincided with the recent blizzard; she adjusted her plans to visit before the storm hit and offered to visit again if we could not make it back in time. Needless to say, we were very happy with the care she provided.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Princeton
I’m so happy Anne was available last minute to walk my Beatrice. Even though she hasn’t seen her for a while, I knew that I had nothing to worry about and she would be so excited to Anne take care of her! I know it was really hot out, but Anne still took her on a really nice walk which I really appreciated (I have a feeling she had to really convince Bea to go on a longer walk😅). I got the cutest pictures and you can tell how happy she was!

Regina did a great job with a drop in visit for my diva Cavalier! She even took the initiative to come to my house before the booking to review my protocol and preferences. The booking went smoothly today and I’ve already scheduled Regina for two more bookings next week. Highly recommend!
It was a pleasure to have Nicholas take care of our dog, Axle. During our leave, he visited Axle at home, played with him and walked him daily. Nicholas is very professional and respectful. We definitely recommend him and look forward to having him watch Axle again in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
