I am a teacher during the school year, so I bring patience, reliability, and enthusiasm to pet care. I’m a full time teacher during the school year, so in the summer I have plenty of availability on weekdays mornings, daytime, and evenings. I am also available for pet sitting or walking many weekends. I respect your home by closely following your pet care instructions including any special diet or behavior needs. I have also gone through no harm dog training with my dog, so I am fully at ease dealing with dogs that range from chill to anxious or reactive. About: I’ve been caring for animals for years and love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ve fostered 8 cats and 1 dog to date, helping them adjust to new environments and getting them ready for their forever home. I also have two cats of my own and two family cats, so I understand the care, attention, and patience they need. I’m also the go to pet sitter for my friends whenever they’re away. I’m also a certified sitter through Southeastern Guide Dogs, where I’ve cared for and trained puppies and service dogs in training. I want to make sure your pet is comfortable and cared for, giving you peace of mind and lots of pictures while you’re away! I recently graduated, so I currently have a very flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate my time to caring for pets. Between pet sitting and other flexible work, my routine revolves around the pets I’m caring for, not the other way around. This means I have plenty of availability for drop-in visits, walks, overnight stays, and can easily adapt to your pet’s normal routine! As of right now, I am only able to provide care in my client’s home so pets can stay where they’re most comfortable, but also to ensure that my own cats, who are nervous around other pets, remain comfortable. About: Since I was born, I have been surrounded by animals and have discovered my strong love for all types of them. I have had dogs and cats all of my life, and have had my own horse since I was 12. I have utilized the knowledge of veterinary care that I have learned while caring for my own horse with all animals. Caring for and spending time with animals is a passion of mine, and I would love to be able to share that with yours! I am also a Registered Nurse at RWJBarnabas. I work M-F 7:30AM-4PM. Weekends are free, however during the week if your pet needs to be let out during the day I will not be available unless it is before/after work. About: I’ve had pets my whole life. I have BA from Rutgers and AAS in Veterinary nursing. I passed the National veterinary technician boards in 1999. I worked at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School as an ICU, fluid therapy and neurology nurse practitioner. I trained veterinary students, veterinary nursing student and worked with clinical residents and attending veterinarians. I have experience with senior pets, pets with ambulatory challenges, pets requiring medications and sick pets.
