“Xingcheng (Connie) looked after my two boys, Bobby and Jack, for 14 days while I was traveling, and she is hands-down the most reliable and best cat sitter I have ever had! She connected with them instantly, played with them regularly, and sent me tons of daily pictures and videos. I always felt completely at ease knowing they were in such excellent care. She gave me regular updates on their food and kept the litter box spotlessly clean. Communication was fantastic throughout the entire stay, so I always knew exactly how they were doing. I will definitely book with Connie again and highly recommend her!”

“Holly is very responsible, cat loving, and knowing person. She complied with a schedule. Our two cats accepted her from day one. We recommend Holly, and will call her in the future.”

“Frida was great! She watched our cats for over a week, they tend to be shy but warmed up to her and let her pet and play with them by the end. We appreciated the updates and photos she shared as well :)”

“Sha was a really great pet sitter for Kulfi. It was easy to communicate with her even during the midst of the holidays which are a very busy time, and everything went really smoothly. Thank you so much!”

“Mariia was wonderful! So kind and our cat adored her! She was very communicative and kept us very updated on our cat as we were away. We will definitely book her again!”

“Cristina watched my two days while we were away. She sent pictures and left a note everyday to me on Rover how the visit went. It was a great feeling to know my dogs were being cared for while away.”

“Brittany took excellent care of my 3 cats, especially of our senior boy. He’s 16 yrs old and needed extra care. My two girls are shy and they usually hide from people they don’t know. Brittany was able to get them out of hiding and sent pictures of them playing. Communication was timely and included pictures of every visit. Brittany went above and beyond of what was expected for a first visit with our fur babies. Thank you Brittany!”

“Yocelyn is reliable and responsible, she took great care of Kira, give me updates each visit ...always quick to respond my messages, definitely I recommend her!She is great!!”
“Jennifer is very patient. We have a dog who is fearful and Jennifer was able to get him on walks. Our dog even ate all his food. It is very helpful to have Jennifer because of my dog being anxious. There aren’t many ppl can work with him and that he allows to get close to him. The good news is that our pup is being helped by UPenn’s team. He should be feeling better soon 🐾🐾🐾❤️❤️❤️”
“My kitty was very happy when Megan came. She kept us update with pictures and messages. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing our little guy was being taken care of.”

“Yana took good care of our boy while we were away. I enjoyed seeing the photos she sent and hearing the updates of each visit. She communicated well while we were gone and made us feel at ease while we were gone.”

“Hiral was prompt in checking in and out during her drop-in visits, and communicated her concerns about my pet in a clear and timely manner (my dog would not go potty, and we texted to reach a solution together). I would recommend her services to anyone!”

“Roshni has become the substitute cat mama for our furry babies. Our last trip would have not been possible without her loving care and dedication taking care of our 3 senior kitties. One needs medication every day and another one is still missing his siblings and playing friends. In a short period and suddenly we have lost two of our babies , one to congestive heart failure and the other to feline diabetes. They are all siblings, rescued as kittens and the same age. All our hearts are broken and Roshni has been incredibly thoughtful and supportive sharing our sadness and helping us to cherish their memory. Thank you Roshni!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Hillsborough
We’ve booked with Brittany a bunch of times now and she always does an excellent job with our pets! She updated us throughout the whole time we were away and we knew our crew was well taken care of! She’s super personable, punctual, and great with our pets!! We will definitely book again and recommend her to anyone!

Hannah was extremely responsive and caring towards my cat! I had been worried about my cat since I had recently traveled with her and wasn’t sure how she was going to adjust but Hannah was very communicative and often gave detailed summaries of her visits and lots of photos. I really appreciated it as an anxious pet owner and would recommend Hannah to anyone!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hillsborough. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
