“Nickie watched my dog during the day for several weeks when I had an overwhelming work schedule. She was always taking him to new and fun locations around Austin. She would let him swim and would play fetch with him all the time. She was always taking him on great long walks. It was so nice knowing that while I was gone, he was getting in lots of exercise and socializing with other people and dogs. He is a rescue and has some random anxieties but after the time that she watched him, I noticed that he was much less anxious around other dogs and new people. I highly recommend her as a dog walker or dog sitter. She did such a great job with my baby!”

My cat is older and has some medical issues and Christian was always careful to not stress my cat out when catching him for medication. I feel lucky to find him! He also house sits and watch’s my plants and drives my cat when needed.”

He has a bit of anxiety and can get a bit loud when he’s out on walks and sees other dogs, but Christie took it upon herself to work with me on learning commands and how to reach to teach him in these situations. Animals connect with Gretchen and she has a calming effect on them. Gretchen is very responsible and will adhere to any special needs the dog may require. Gretchen has always had a dog in her life and has gone through extensive training with her last dog…. This being said she is quite good at reading dogs needs and assessing situations. I highly recommend Gretchen to anyone who would like their dog taken care of.”
