About: I’ve had both a dog and a cat my whole life and have grown up with the responsibility to take care of them whether it be feeding them, taking them for a walk, or spending time with them. I also used to dog sit and walk for my neighbor five days a week while I was still in school. I currently only work 3 days a week and have a toddler so I’m limited to what I can work as far as a 9-5. About: Hi! I’m Alexa, a recent University of Miami graduate and a lifelong animal lover. I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and birds and have spent the last 10+ years caring for pets for family, friends, and neighbors. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and my family has also been involved with supporting a no-kill animal shelter, which has only strengthened my love for helping animals. I currently have two dogs with completely different personalities, which has taught me how important it is to understand every pet’s individual needs. My 11-year-old dog is calmer, loves relaxing, sunbathing, and getting attention, while my younger rescue dog is energetic, playful, and always ready to run around. Having both has given me experience with senior dogs, rescues, high-energy dogs, and different temperaments. I’m comfortable with walking, feeding, bathing, playtime, and giving medications. My dog Bentley has diabetes, so I also have personal experience caring for pets with medical needs and understand how important it is to be attentive, responsible, and follow instructions carefully. I would describe myself as patient, gentle, active, and extremely attentive. I always pay attention to little details, whether that means making sure a dog isn’t overheating outside, keeping fresh water available, noticing changes in behavior, or simply making sure they feel loved and comfortable. I truly see pets as members of the family and will always treat your dog with the same care, kindness, and love that I give my own. Im currently home for the summer and I high flexibility for dog walking, house sitting, and potty breaks. I love to get to know all sorts of pups and appreciate each of their individual likes and personalities. If overnight boarding is foreseeable for the future after initial services with your dog, I would be happy discuss and go over details in a deeper extent.

About: I have a long history of personally taking care of my own pets throughout my life. I have had deep personal connections with 3 pet dogs, 4 pet cats, and one pet rabbit whom recently passed away from very old age (15 years old!). For the past two years I have been walking and visiting my neighbors senior dog whom I let set set the pace of the walk. I feel its important to read a pet's body language and how they want to take the day. I often give updates and observations to my neighbor/client so that they feel reassured with their pet. T I personally feel that animals are like people and need interaction and companionship with playtime and maybe a walking friend. I am a yoga instructor, so I have set classes and events part time. For the most part I am available from Monday 11am-3pm, Wednesday and Fridays from 1pm-3pm. I do not care for pets in my home, but I visit others home. I will be happy to play with your pet within your home or a fenced yard. When walking a dog I often avoid socialization with other dogs as they are strangers and I do not know the walker or the other dog personally and I like to avoid conflict. For all pets, I do not force interaction or play because I feel that is disrespecting their personal time and boundaries. This includes picking them up and petting.

I currently have two: a 12-year-old Pomeranian and a 4-month-old Border Collie puppy. I’ve also cared for various breeds, including English Pointers and toy breeds, and I understand that each dog’s personality and routine are unique. My goal is to make sure every animal feels safe, loved, and happy while their owners are away—just like I would want for my own pets. Caring for animals is part of my everyday life and something I truly enjoy. I’m home full-time, which allows me to give pets my full attention throughout the day. My routine already revolves around caring for my two dogs — a senior Pomeranian and a young Border Collie — with regular walks, playtime, training, and affection. Adding pet sitting and dog care to my daily schedule feels like a natural extension of what I already love doing. I make time each day for exercise, mental stimulation, and rest for the animals in my care, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether pets stay in my home or I visit theirs, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for just like they would with their own family. I follow each pet’s routine closely — from feeding and walks to playtime and rest — and I always keep their comfort and well-being in mind. In my home, pets have a calm, clean environment with plenty of supervised playtime and affection. For in-home visits, I respect the owner’s space and care for pets according to their regular schedule to reduce stress and maintain consistency. I pay close attention to their behavior, keep them mentally and physically active, and send frequent updates so owners always know their pets are happy and in good hands.

About: I grew up caring for my family's black labs my entire life. I currently own two beautiful baby Shih Tzus, Tony & Guiness with my beautiful fiancé. They add so much joy to our lives and are a big part of our growing family. I invest a lot of time and effort into training them daily, to build trust and give them the best lives possible. Taking care of the animals in my life is a passion of mine, and I treat every pet like it's my own. I'm currently making pet care my full time job. After years of training athletes, I'm opting for a career that is rewarding in different ways. I'm available any time Monday through Friday and occasionally a weekend if I'm around and if it's a good fit. My apartment complex has many areas to walk outside, with sidewalks and open grass areas where I walk my boys. There is also a spacious indoor dog park in the basement of my complex where I take them to play, especially on rainy days. We do training both indoors and on walks outside, individually and as a family. I also expose my dogs to as many experiences as possible, bringing them to community events, outdoor dining, and social gatherings. Our family does not believe in leaving pets home alone all day every day, and want to give them as much stimulation and social interaction as possible.
