“We left our two cats for two weeks—the longest they’ve ever been alone—while we traveled across the country, and we were extremely nervous, especially because one of our cats is very anxious and deeply attached to humans. We found Purva through Rover on our first search, and calling her “sent from animal care heaven” would honestly be an understatement. From the initial meet-and-greet, Purva was warm, down-to-earth, and incredibly reassuring. Before leaving, I set up cameras around the house because we were worried about stress-related behaviors like inappropriate peeing or vomiting, particularly from our anxious cat. Somehow, during those two weeks, our cats seemed happier than when we’re actually home. They were consistently well-fed, the litter box was always clean, and although Purva was scheduled for 30-minute visits each day, she never left until every requested task was completed thoroughly and thoughtfully. Most impressively, our anxious cat—who typically urinates around the house when stressed—did not act out even once during the entire two weeks. That alone speaks volumes. I fully attribute this to Purva’s patience, attentiveness, and genuine care. She arrived on time every day and was even available for last-minute visits during an emergency, which gave us incredible peace of mind. We truly could not have asked for a better cat sitter. Purva exceeded every expectation, and we would trust her with our cats again without hesitation. And one more thing we absolutely loved was that Purva always attended the visits with a member of her family. Safety comes first above everything, and this meant so much to us. It gave us an extra level of comfort and peace of mind knowing she prioritized her own safety while caring for our home and our cats.”

About: I’ve been working with dogs and cats since July 2020 with minor experience in a grooming salon. I’ve always loved animals and decided to start my own dog walking business in February 2022 and have loved every aspect of it. If you’re interested in boarding, please message me before booking. I enjoy getting to know pets and their families and always make time to go over all your needs thoroughly to ensure you can trust to leave your animal with me comfortably. Your dogs needs are always my top priority and will never hesitate to protect your baby in an unsavory situation. I can administer a range of medicine, including insulin and administer fluids, adhere to any dietary and exercise needs, and love going on long walks at the park. Dog walking and sitting is my full time occupation. I am usually walking dogs from 9am-3pm on a daily basis. I have a few families that depend on me daily and some for emergencies or last minute bookings throughout the week. I book most of my stays in advance and recommend that if I cannot leave your dog unattended for at least 4 hours to look elsewhere (sorry!). My calendar is updated daily, please reach out and say hello! I always make sure to meet with a family before confirming a booking. If the booking is far enough in advance I recommend at least 1 or 2 more visits prior to the families departure just to go over basic info, daily routines, and to let your pet get more familiar with me. I’m always happy to stay over night, am very friendly with neighbors, and am a quiet homebody type. I would never invite guests over while you’re gone and always make sure I leave your home cleaner than you left it. I have spent the past 10 years volunteering and to working full time with them in a clinic. I am currently working part time, which gives me plenty of time to care for your furry family! About: I have a lot of experience volunteering at various animal shelters and caring for cats and dogs of all ages. I have had elderly, disabled and animals in need of help due to an illness in my care as well. I have also had limited experience training younger dogs. I am currently working completely online, so I will have plenty of time to care for animals! However, I will have commitments on most weekends. I have a spacious house, with multiple levels, which can be blocked off in case an animal may not be able to use them. I also have a large backyard with plenty of room for larger animals to run around. I have no other pets. I am also able to crate a dog in case they are crate trained, and am quite flexible with any other accommodations for an animal.

Services offered: Pet/Home Sitting (My most popular service) includes staying overnight with your furry friend so that they have company and comfort while your away, along with daytime care every 4-6 hours at a minimum, for potty breaks, walks, or just cuddles and play! 30 Minute Walks include a stroll around your neighborhood or nearby trail to make sure your pup has the mental simulation and exercise they need for the day. 30 Minute Drop Ins include potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and of course feeding to keep your furry friend comfortable and happy in their home.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 7 years old. I grew up with a German Shepherd named Eva, the love of my life. While a sophomore in high school, I began working at a dog daycare called Pups@Play Montclair. That job gave me invaluable knowledge of dog behavior and relationship dynamics. I learned the intricacies of their behavior, body language, personality, whether they were high energy or low energy, active or reactive, etc. I used that to diffuse many doggy disputes. I worked with and managed 50+ dogs everyday. Daschunds, puppies, mutts, great danes, shepherds, samoyeds, bulldogs, pitbulls, hairless, everything. I can handle any dog I meet. You can trust me to handle your dog with care, happiness, love, understanding, and patience. I am fit and ready to play! Dogs hold such a special place in my heart and I can't wait to meet yours! I am a student at Rutgers New Brunswick and my schedule currently has me free after 5pm on weekdays and any time after 9am on weekends. I can potentially be available if there is a special circumstance but that is by no means a guarantee. I do not currently offer boarding services. About: I am a very loyal and caring animal lover (dogs, cats, horses, etc.) I grew up in Lawrenceville, NJ with cats and dogs. One of our chores was taking care of our animals, whether walking the dog, feeding them or changing cat litter and making sure all animals had fresh water daily. As a child, having an animal is a big responsibility but it is one that makes you learn and grow as a child to become a trusting and caring individual with responsibility in the big world we live in today. To be honest, animals are like family, they make you laugh and smile but their always there for you with unconditional love at the end of a busy day which everyone always needs. I am a true animal lover. I am semi-retired and have enjoyed taking care of dogs/cats all my life. Animals bring so much joy each day. I normally stay at clients home. I always make sure animals are fed and cared for each day. It’s important that they have exercise always.
