“Kaylyn is great! She was friendly, attentive, caring. She took great care of my cats while I was traveling and provided daily updates with pictures. I would highly recommend!!”

About: As a lifelong animal lover and proud German Shepherd mom, I bring hands-on experience with pets of all kinds, from puppies and seniors to anxious, reactive, and differently-abled dogs. I’ve also cared for cats, birds, bunnies, fish, and geckos, so no pet is too unique! My approach is warm and nurturing by nature, but I adapt to whatever your pet needs. Structured and calm for reactive dogs, playful and patient for puppies, and gentle and attentive for seniors. Every animal deserves to feel safe and loved, and that’s exactly what I deliver. I am currently available during day time, and open to taking on clients in the afternoon if available. Can do overnight sittings Sunday- Wed, and can do multiple visits in the day I am available to take care of pets in your home, whether it’s a walk, sitting or play session. Will adjust dependent on the weather and pet needs

I am also flexible with schedule, potty breaks and walks. I don’t have any pets nor children. 🐶💕 I love going out for walks, playing and I have a dog park near my apartment aswell. About: I’ve had multiple dogs throughout my life, from months old to 14 years old. I’ve managed medication schedules and walking routines multiple times a day for a senior dog with special care needs. I’m comfortable with everything from small, calm dogs to big, hyper ones. I’m responsible, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with dogs of any age. I’m home from college right now, so I have plenty of flexibility to play with your pups! I’m available for drop-ins and walks on weekends and weekdays, including daytime hours. I can accommodate flexible scheduling throughout the week depending on what you need. My whole house has been set up with our dogs in mind, so your pup will be just as safe and comfortable as at home. I have secure gates and safe spaces to keep dogs contained when needed, along with plenty of room to play. When caring for your dog, I make sure they’re fed on schedule, given regular bathroom breaks and walks, and supervised closely at all times. I hold every dog in our care to the same standard of attention and love that I give my own.
About: I have been caring for dogs and cats for 7 years for family, friends, and clients, and I absolutely love making sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I currently work as a gym manager, which allows me flexibility throughout the day since I typically start work later in the morning. I am also able to step away during the day for walks, check-ins, feeding, and quality time with your pets. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your furry family members. In addition to making sure pets are happy and well cared for, I always treat every home with the same respect and cleanliness I would expect in my own space. I have experience with both dogs and cats, and I personally have 2 cats, 1 dog, and a bearded dragon. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy, and my goal is always to make sure your pets feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away! Pet care fits very well into my daily and weekly routine. I currently work as a gym manager Monday through Friday, and my schedule typically starts between 10 AM and 12 PM. Because of my later start time, I am available in the mornings for walks, feedings, and check-ins. I am also able to step away during my lunch break to check on pets, let them out, or spend some quality time with them. I have flexibility throughout the week, and I am available on weekends as well. I always prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any specific instructions they provide. I also make sure to be respectful of their home by keeping things clean and treating their space with care. I understand that every pet has a different personality and needs, so I take the time to get to know each animal and provide them with the attention, affection, and exercise they need. My goal is to make pets feel comfortable while giving owners peace of mind knowing their animals and home are being well taken care of. At this time, I primarily offer care in the client’s home, including drop-in visits, walks, and check-ins.
“Laura was absolutely great!! She took the effort to meet me a few times prior, so we could practice and learn how to do my cat's inhaler therapy and she was able to consistently do it for him this time! Very very pleased with the outcome!”

On my own I have 2 dogs and 1 cat whom I love so very much! I have taken care of family pets, neighbors pets, and other types of pets like birds! I’m a teacher. So weekends work the best! Once summer hits in mid June, then I’m available M-F, too! Since I’m a kindergarten teacher, I’m a nurturer, and a huge lover of animals. My mother donates to the ASPCA and WWF every year. “Mika was fantastic in helping me care for my two cats when I was in a pinch. She was punctual, flexible, and very sweet and patient with them. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and capable pet sitter!”

About: Hi there! I'm Jessica. I'm a creative, loyal and fun pet sitter. I love looking after animals and maintain a positive outlook on life no matter what. I can't wait to meet you and your pet. The more dogs I interact with, the happier I am! Growing up, there was always at least one Golden Retriever in my life. Currently, I have two fluffy Goldens. Any down time I spend out of the house is usually with either a pitbull or a Belgian Malinois/Shepherd. I love taking any combination of these 4 friends to dog parks, hiking, or to the beach! I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind, they're part of the family. But don't worry, they'll be part of mine too. I'm here to make sure not just that your dog is comfortable and happy, but you are too. After all, you're both my clients. I'm happy to update you as much as possible about your pet while you're out of town. I don't just watch dogs, if you have any feline friends, I'm happy to watch them too! I'd love to have more dogs in my life, and have a very flexible schedule to do so. I can most easily be reached by phone or the Rover App. Please reach out to me with questions, I'm excited to make a connection.
“This was our second time booking Cindy, and she continues to be fantastic. She takes such great care of our senior dogs and is always responsive with clear communication. It’s such a relief knowing they’re in good hands. We really appreciate her and will definitely keep booking with her.”

About: I own a 4 year old dog of my own. Worked at a puppy boutique caring, walking, feeding, participating in vet nights & grooming/bathing young puppies. i have dog sat a lot of family & friends dogs. I am currently working part-time so can be flexible. I am able to do drop ins, but also walking and pet-sitting. I love dogs so it is a privilege to spend time with them! I live in an apartment with my own dog who is great with other dogs. I walk dogs as much as the owner asks, take them out frequently, do brain stimulating activities, & play with them.
About: I love animals so much I wanted to become a vet when I was a child. I instead chose to work with humans and equally love my career as a teacher. I am off all summer, so I am looking to not only earn a little extra money, but also keep your furbaby company while you are away. I am currently 7 months pregnant, so we are being strict on size and age of who we will sit. We limit the size we watch to 25 pounds and we won't watch any new clients younger than 5. Zach (my husband) and I have 3 of our own small dogs and boarding with us would be a great option! We have a fenced in yard and even a lure course to keep your baby entertained in the backyard. Our home has a doggy door, so they have full range of outside when they need to do their business, making potty training even easier! I am cat and dog CPR/first aid certified through American Red Cross. I am currently working part-time teaching summer school and coaching the summer robotics team. My husband works full time from home, so your pup will get a lot of attention. We have a fenced in yard to keep your fur baby safe during their stay. This also allows plenty of exercise. We have 3 of our own small pups, one who loves playing and running around, one who loves sleeping, and one who loves fetch to keep yours company, no matter their personality.
“Amazing! Our doggies loved him. He took extra care and truly altered his schedule to surround our dogs at the center of it. Consistently responsive, and let us know of every single detail which was most appreciative. Excited to book him again!”

“Nikki dropped in to check on our cats during the long Fourth of July weekend! Everything went so well and she gave one of our cats his meds every evening. She was timely and professional and very knowledgeable!”

“Frida was great! She watched our cats for over a week, they tend to be shy but warmed up to her and let her pet and play with them by the end. We appreciated the updates and photos she shared as well :)”

“Wilson was a great pet sitter. He sent pictures of my pets everyday and documented everything through the app. He spent time with them a swell which i really appreciated. I will definitely rebook with him in the future.”

About: I have a passion for working with dogs and helping them and their humans have the best possible relationship. Regardless of your pup’s age, personality, medical (or other) needs, I’m happy to step up and be a positive part of their day. I’m lucky enough to have a very open schedule during the summer, especially during the day. That means I’m super flexible and willing to work with whatever your scheduling needs are! The love and compassion that you have for your pup is being passed into good hands. Your pup will thank you for entrusting them to my care!
“Kate was amazing! my dog is old and she is very hard to get to know, others sitters pushed her and cause anxiety to her but kate took things as my was feeling comfortable and that is amazing you can tell she loves animals,”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Somerville
Ola was an angel! We had to make two modifications to our original booking over this holiday weekend and she was so helpful and accommodating. She went above and beyond my expectation when it came to cleaning up a pet mess in our home. And she was so kind and loving to our fur babies each and every time she came to see them. I am so grateful that we met Ola and I look forward to working with her in the future.

Jessica did an excellent job taking care of Bella and Audrey, even during several very cold and snowy days. She was attentive, patient, and thoughtful, and made sure the dogs were safe and comfortable despite the challenging weather conditions. We really appreciated her care, flexibility, and attention to detail, and felt very confident having the girls in her care. Highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.

A few days before our planned week-long vacation, our original pet-sitter canceled. Not knowing the best course of action, I found Rover (and thereby, Riley!) So once I got over any hesitation with using an app, Riley came for a meet&greet. I could tell right away that he was definitely a pet person. Thankfully, he was able to accept our booking - a full week with 6 cats and 1 dog. Any fear I had about leaving my fur babies were almost immediately assuaged after getting my first report from Riley. He was totally attentive to the needs of every "kid" - including giving daily inhaler medication to an asthmatic cat. I cannot say enough about what an *amazing* job Riley did! With each passing day I would get a full and detailed report with pictures. I felt like Riley wasn't just there to do a job but he truly cared for each and every one of my motley crew. Please do not hesitate to book with Riley. He certainly exceeded any expectation I had. Thanks again, Riley!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
