“I've been using Yana for the past few weeks because I had to pull my dog out of daycare due to her needing surgery and I can honestly tell you between her flexibility and transparency, Yana has been a great addition to my dogs' life. Her responsive nature and amazing ability to connect with my dogs has been a godsend for me. She is so responsive and I appreciate her report cards so much. My one dog is very reactive and doesn't trust people easily to the fact that she took to Yana so well is amazing. Highly recommend her.”

“Marc cared for our German Shepherd for a weekend and he was great! He really cares about the wellbeing and comfortability of your pet. Would definitely recommend!”

About: Hi there! My name is Roe and im from Basking Ridge, NJ. Animals are my life! I have resided with dogs, cats, reptiles (and pretty much every kind of household creature possible) for the past 20 years. I was a professional pet sitter for 2 years :) i currently work at a dog barkery and would love to pet sit again in my spare time! Im friendly and reliable, and I will give your pet family lots of love!!! Long walks, treats, and cuddles are my favorite :) I cant wait to get to know your fur babies! Feel free to contact me for more detailed schedule <3 I currently work at a dog bakery in Bridgewater. Wed-sat. 6-7 hours a day. If your pets are used to you being away during those times that would be perfect! I have decent flexibility with this schedule so feel free ask :) I have 3 pups! I understand the worry and stress that comes with having to leave your fur babies! I will care for them like I would my own!
About: I have always been around cats and dogs my whole life and have taken care of both before. I love being able to bond with a pet! Hi there! I am new to NJ as I just moved from VA. I work hybrid 9-5 Mon-Fri, and my days in person vary every week, so my availability depends on my job! I am available on weekends- time doesn't really matter for me unless I have something planned but letting me know ahead of time works best! In my home with my cat I always make sure he's fed with a clean box and tons of pets ready for him when he isn't asleep and many toys for him that he loves. The same goes for anyone else's pet I am responsible for!
About: Been around dogs my entire life and when I was in high school I got one of my own. A beautiful German Shepherd I named Rocky, who stole my heart. His energy was always high and puppy like, but he was well behaved and calm when it was time to be. He has recently passed, but he lives on in my heart. I raised him on my own from a pup through potty training, chewing, and walking on leash. He would respond to basic and advanced commands also able to walk off leash without running off. I have recent experience with senior care just having gone through caring for a sick and elderly dog. He was around 95 pounds and I was able to help him get around, I’m capable to assist any elderly dog however they might need it. Started my own personal training business, but most people are available after normal business hours. So that leaves me free with large breaks during the day which would be perfect for me to baby sit while their owner is working. My schedule is mostly flexible, allowing for long walks and supervised relaxing, but if any type of emergency were to come up, my partner works from home to administer care and constant love so don't be worried your pet will never be alone. We have a house with a fenced in yard. We can walk, play or just hangout. I like to go on a walk first to make sure your dog is comfortable with me, and I will do whatever is possible to make sure your dog is loved how you would love them. If they’re comfortable using a crate I can provide them with one and a soft bed. I have dog bowls for water and will feed them as often as you prefer. Your pet will be physically and mentally simulated making sure they don’t get bored and are always having fun.

About: As a lifelong dog owner being around and taking care of dogs is second nature to me. I found that I have way more free time than expected and would love to spend it caring for your dog! Im a full time remote software engineer with flexible hours so Im usually available at all times of the day! I try to get some exercise in at multiple times during the day with my dog and can easily fit more. My home is next door to a dog park where I take my own dog to very often. We also go on walks every morning for exercise. Crates (if needed) and dog beds are available for overnight or extended home stays and there's tons of toys to play with.

I've structured my work and personal life around providing excellent care. My mornings start early with dog walks before the day gets busy. I work flexible hours so I can accommodate different pickup times and give each dog proper attention throughout the day. Weekends are often my busiest times for overnight stays, which works perfectly since I prefer spending my weekends hanging out with dogs anyway. I've found that caring for pets actually improves my own routine, it keeps me active, gives structure to my days, and provides the kind of unconditional companionship that makes every day better. In My Home Your dog becomes part of my daily routine from the moment they arrive. I start each morning with a good walk and breakfast, then we settle into a comfortable rhythm. I work from home, so your pup gets constant companionship and attention throughout the day. They have access to my living room and kitchen areas, plus a secure backyard for supervised play and bathroom breaks. Evenings include another good walk, dinner, and plenty of couch time if they're cuddlers. I keep detailed notes about their eating, bathroom habits, and any quirks I notice to share with you. In Your Home I treat your space with complete respect while keeping your dog's routine as normal as possible. I follow your feeding schedule, walking routes, and house rules exactly. Your pup gets the same level of attention and care, but in their familiar environment with all their favorite spots and toys. I also take care of basic house tasks like bringing in mail and watering plants if needed.
“It was my first time ever hiring a dog walker so I was a little nervous but Michael made me feel 100% comfortable from the initial conversation exchange to the meet and greet. The walk went great; he kept me up-to-date with how and what they did and with pictures which I appreciated. My dog loves him and I’ll definitely use him again!”

“We love Jennifer! She is kind, reliable, flexible, and great with our dog. I highly recommend her dog walking services. We have had her walk our dog numerous times and she continues to be one of our regularly scheduled dog walkers. Thank you Jennifer!”

About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals, from yorkies to labradors and a ten year old cat! I will be sure to listen to your pet’s every need. I am new to Rover, but I am looking forward to meeting your animal! I am a very active individual and can help your best friend get all of their energy out. I can go on walks up to 2 hours. I am an avid runner so if your dog loves to go a little faster, I can keep up! I have helped clicker train a puppy, and I have hid pills in cheese before and made sure they weren’t spit out! I work full-time 8am to 5pm, so I have availability in the early morning or after work. I get an hour lunch in Somerset so I can drop in or do walks during my break. I am free most weekends, and I update my calendar as soon as I am aware I am unavailable. I would love to spend multiple hours walking or just hanging out with your pet! I do not have the ability to have pets in my apartment, so I am not able to board any animals in my own home.
About: I am vegan and adore animals, especially dogs. I have cared for dogs my entire life and have a special place in my heart for them. I will not only make sure your family member's needs are met but love and care for them as if they were my pet and make sure they are comfortable. I know what to do in an emergency and I communicate regularly with the owner. My doggie is part of my family and I will treat all other doggies in the same manner. I am reliable and trustworthy and will take amazing care of your pet, your family. Whether it is an overnight stay, a drop in or just a simple walk, I will ensure that your dog is happy and healthy. I look forward to helping your family out with your dog! I work from home and go into work a couple hours per week. The best days for us to sit are MWFs and some weekends. It varies so best to check. We have a large, fenced in yard. I would be concerned if the dog were very small and thin (<10lbs) that they could squeeze under some areas of the fence so we have a dog stake and cable that allows them to roam around the backyard without worrying.

Highly recommend! Marc was fantastic with our two dogs, one of which is very shy with new people. Marc was patient, gentle and kind and took the time to get to know them. You can tell he genuinely cares, is experienced and knowledgable and most importantly, treats our dogs as he would his own:-)

Xinzhi was amazing with my puppy! She was very responsive to any messages and sent lots of pictures and updates to let me know how he was doing. She even worked on some commands with him to help train him since he is still young. I highly recommend booking Xinzhi for your dog!
