I’m available for boarding, daycare, and walks, and I structure my day around the pets in my care to ensure they receive regular potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. Your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will get plenty of interaction and affection. When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family. I provide a calm, cozy environment where they’re free to relax, play, and feel comfortable. All outdoor time is fully supervised and on-leash to ensure safety at all times. Walks, potty breaks, and fresh air are built into the daily routine. I also have a friendly dog at home who genuinely loves the company of other dogs. I always prioritize safe, positive introductions and monitor interactions to make sure everyone feels comfortable. If your pup prefers space or slower socialization, I can easily adjust to meet their needs. In a client’s home, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible — including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and favorite habits — so they feel secure in their own environment. My goal in any setting is to provide loving, attentive care where your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for.

I currently work as a gym manager, which allows me flexibility throughout the day since I typically start work later in the morning. I am also able to step away during the day for walks, check-ins, feeding, and quality time with your pets. Because of my later start time, I am available in the mornings for walks, feedings, and check-ins. I am also able to step away during my lunch break to check on pets, let them out, or spend some quality time with them. I have flexibility throughout the week, and I am available on weekends as well. I always prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any specific instructions they provide. I also make sure to be respectful of their home by keeping things clean and treating their space with care. I understand that every pet has a different personality and needs, so I take the time to get to know each animal and provide them with the attention, affection, and exercise they need. At this time, I primarily offer care in the client’s home, including drop-in visits, walks, and check-ins.

About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for both my own dog and others’ pets. I have a Yorkie-Bichon mix named Frankie, and taking care of her has taught me how important patience, routine, and making sure every pet feels safe and loved. I genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether it’s going on walks, playing, or simply keeping them company, I enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality. I love dogs, cats (even though I’m allergic! 🥲), rabbits (especially my friend’s whose name is Cosito), and really all animals. I recently graduated with my bachelor’s degree and am currently doing more schooling by completing nursing prerequisites. Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule because it allows me to do something I genuinely love while continuing my education. My classes are Tuesday and Fridays I finish at 2:00pm so I’m available in the late afternoons, evenings. AFTER 2:00pm I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for by sticking to their routine as closely as possible. In a client’s home, I’ll follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, fresh water, walks, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. I do understand every pet is different, so I’ll be patient and make sure they feel comfortable while you’re away. I will always send pictures as well!

“I cannot express how grateful we are to have found Jake! We were unexpectedly put in a very stressful situation when our longtime dog sitter became unavailable one week into our two week trip. We were facing the possibility of having to cancel the remainder of our plans and return home. In over 15 years of having multiple dogs, I have ALWAYS done a meet and greet and spent considerable time walking a new sitter through our home, routines, and VERY specific instructions. We don't have just one or two dogs. We have a six pack, each with very different personalities, routines, and needs! We had six to eight people familiar with our dogs who unfortunately weren't available to step in. Thankfully, my sister had recently met Jake through Rover for her own dogs and had a wonderful interaction. While that gave us some reassurance, Jake had never been to our home or met any of our dogs! This was a big change for me (and the dogs). Jake and I spent nearly an hour on the phone going through everything. He was competent, patient, communicative, supportive, and, most importantly, willing to step into a situation that was far from ordinary. Jake succeeded, our dogs succeeded, and we are very very blessed for this outcome. One more thing worth mentioning. I have always chosen female dog sitters, simply because I assumed that was the most comfortable fit for our household and dogs. Well, Jake has now changed my perspective on that. About: I've always loved animals and used to volunteer at an animal shelter when I was younger. I also got my first dog 10 years ago--she is my best friend and I love her more than anything :) I'm responsible for grooming, feeding, and walking her, plus regular check ups to make sure she's healthy. My favorite thing to do though is playing with her and cuddling! In regard to my schedule, I am currently working full time from 9-5pm, Monday through Friday. Any other times outside of that window I am available! I am also going on vacation from August 8 to August 15. Since I am a pet owner myself, I am able to take care of your pet(s) in any way needed. About: I have had my own dogs as well as taken care of neighbors and friends dogs for the past 10 years. I have been responsible for their dogs while they are away on vacation including walking, feeding, playing, etc. I currently have a 4 year old rescue Blue Heeler named Wade (very high energy). I am always discovering new ways to provide mental stimulation (training, new skills, mental games) on top of walking & playing to ensure that he can sleep like the best dog he is. I have worked with him through his reactivity developed before I adopted him to ensure him that he is safe and can life the happy life he deserves. My love for dogs has been evident since I was child and I want to provide that same love and care for every dog like they are my own. I have an open and flexible schedule right now, so I can spend plenty of time caring for your pets. I’m available throughout the day for walks and visits, and I can stay overnight if needed. I always follow each pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I’ll make sure their walks, feedings, and playtime stay consistent, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos (and let them know you miss them!)

About: I have been raised around dogs my entire life and have over 11 years of hands-on dog care experience. To me, dogs aren’t just animals but can be family, loyal friends…the closest companions in our lives. I treat every guest pup with the exact same love, respect, and careful attention I give my own I work a flexible 9-5 job where there can be a day or two for me to work remotely. I’m open to boarding those days and the weekends too! I have two dogs in my loft currently. One senior 14-year old morkie and a 3-year old English pointer. Both are trained and don’t bother others. About: I have watched and have card for dogs all ages, from puppies to senior dogs. I respect the dogs boundaries taking notice of physical signs (tail wagging, whites of their eyes showing, tail between their legs, etc.) and only approach when they look and feel comfortable. I always remember that even if a dog has known me for a while and is comfortable with me, that they are still an animal and their space needs to be respected. I always ensure that they feel loved, cared for and respected when I am watching them! They gets lots of pets, hugs, and (if allowed by both owner and pet) kisses! I currently work full-time and am working remotely Mondays and Fridays. During the week, I incorporate pet care in my daily and weekly routine either before my work day, during my lunch break and even after my work day ends. During weekends, I have more availability and flexibility! At my home, I have a fenced in backyard. When I am at a clients house, I always ensure that all gates/doors/exit points/etc. are securely closed and locked. If I am taking the pet for a walk, I always put their harness/collars/leash on in the house and triple check it is on correctly and securely.
