I have a dog and 3 cats of my own and would love the opportunity to care for your pets as if they were my own! I can care for all sizes of dogs, cats, and other pets. I'm able to medicate, administer insulin or other injections, or anything medical. I'm very good with scared or unsure pets and have a knack for helping them feel more comfortable. I have loved and cared for animals since I was young and am hoping to have the opportunity to care for yours as well! I work from home and can be flexible with drops in and walks. I am also free all weekend! I can do drops ins, walks, overnights or medication administration. About: Animals have always been at the center of my life. I share my home with four cats (three traveled with me from Ukraine and one rescued from Houston) and a Bernese Mountain Dog who’s training to become a certified therapy dog. I work remotely, so I’m home all day and able to give pets constant attention. Before moving to the U.S., I co-founded an adoption center in Ukraine dedicated to rescuing and rehoming critically ill stray cats. I’ve completed multiple courses in animal behavior and publish freelance articles about the latest research in pet care. My dog has completed four manners courses and holds all his certificates, and I create human-grade treats in a professional dehydrator (and planning to start a business), so my furry guests are welcome to sample them if they have no allergies. We have a spacious home with a fenced yard, two guest rooms to separate our furry guests if needed, and a pool for supervised dog play. I work remotely only a few hours a day, so I have plenty of time to care for your pet. I’m also very physically active, ensuring your furry friend will never be bored. I create a calm, pet-friendly environment and keep routines consistent to reduce stress. In my home or yours, I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, maintain secure doors and gates, and use positive reinforcement for safe play. I keep food, water, and litter areas clean and monitor pets closely during walks or outdoor time.

Lauren did an excellent job adapting to our Dog as he didn't want to go for a walk in the cold. So he had a quick bathroom break and some cuddles on the couch!

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I truly treat every pup like family. Whether it’s an energetic dog who loves playtime and long walks or a senior who prefers a slower pace and extra snuggles, I’m attentive to each dog’s unique needs and routine. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering basic medications, and making sure they get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection. My goal is always to provide a calm, loving environment where your dog feels safe, comfortable, and completely at home while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide consistent supervision and attention throughout the day. I’m available for boarding, daycare, and walks, and I structure my day around the pets in my care to ensure they receive regular potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. Your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will get plenty of interaction and affection. When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family. I provide a calm, cozy environment where they’re free to relax, play, and feel comfortable. All outdoor time is fully supervised and on-leash to ensure safety at all times. Walks, potty breaks, and fresh air are built into the daily routine. I also have a friendly dog at home who genuinely loves the company of other dogs. I always prioritize safe, positive introductions and monitor interactions to make sure everyone feels comfortable. If your pup prefers space or slower socialization, I can easily adjust to meet their needs. In a client’s home, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible — including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and favorite habits — so they feel secure in their own environment. My goal in any setting is to provide loving, attentive care where your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for.

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats for 7 years for family, friends, and clients, and I absolutely love making sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I currently work as a gym manager, which allows me flexibility throughout the day since I typically start work later in the morning. I am also able to step away during the day for walks, check-ins, feeding, and quality time with your pets. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your furry family members. In addition to making sure pets are happy and well cared for, I always treat every home with the same respect and cleanliness I would expect in my own space. I have experience with both dogs and cats, and I personally have 2 cats, 1 dog, and a bearded dragon. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy, and my goal is always to make sure your pets feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away! Pet care fits very well into my daily and weekly routine. I currently work as a gym manager Monday through Friday, and my schedule typically starts between 10 AM and 12 PM. Because of my later start time, I am available in the mornings for walks, feedings, and check-ins. I am also able to step away during my lunch break to check on pets, let them out, or spend some quality time with them. I have flexibility throughout the week, and I am available on weekends as well. I always prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any specific instructions they provide. I also make sure to be respectful of their home by keeping things clean and treating their space with care. I understand that every pet has a different personality and needs, so I take the time to get to know each animal and provide them with the attention, affection, and exercise they need. My goal is to make pets feel comfortable while giving owners peace of mind knowing their animals and home are being well taken care of. At this time, I primarily offer care in the client’s home, including drop-in visits, walks, and check-ins.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover and reliable pet caregiver with years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. Before fostering cats, I fostered dogs and I even had two “foster fails!” My two sweet pitties stole my heart and became permanent members of my family. Over the years, I’ve fostered numerous cats and kittens, including seniors, shy cats, and young babies. Fostering has taught me that every pet is unique, and I love taking the time to build trust, help them feel safe, and provide care that fits their individual personality and needs. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having a calm companion while you’re away, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and patience. I’m also comfortable giving basic medications when needed, but my greatest strength is creating a safe, comfortable environment where pets can relax and be themselves. My professional background has strengthened my patience, reliability, and attention to detail, and I bring those qualities to every visit. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I’ll always treat them like they’re part of my own family. You can also count on regular photo and video updates, so you’ll always know your furry baby is happy and well cared for! I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! I currently work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m able to provide dependable, attentive care while keeping your pet’s schedule consistent. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I take the time to learn their routine, respect their personality, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. Whether in my home or yours, I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, fresh food and water, and lots of love. I also keep pet parents updated with photos and messages so they know their furry family member is happy and well cared for.

About: Dogs have been apart of my life since I was 10 years old when we got our first dog Sputnik. After High School, I attended The Morris County School of Technology where I graduated from its Veterinary Medicine course that vastly expanded my knowledge on interpreting dog behavior, action steps in an emergency, and markers for potential medical complications. After that, I worked at two different esteemed dog daycare and boarding facilities for a total of 3 years. During this time I was able to put what I learned into practice with a variety of different situations and a variety of different dogs all ranging in size, age, and temperament. This experience not only taught me technical skills, but also the philosophy I now use for pet care. Each dog is unique, and what works for one might not be effective for another. It is with this in mind, that I strive to find the approach that works best for your dog. As a dog owner myself I understand that they are so much more than just pets, they are furry members of our families. This notion is important in conveying the gravity of entrusting the care of your four legged family to another. With all this in mind, I hope you will consider my services so I can get to know both you and your furry friend(s). Currently my schedule is very open, with only a few select dates throughout the summer where I am unavailable. I am a full-time student, so at the end of August I resume a full-course load at college and my schedule will be restricted; but, I should still be able to accommodate when necessary. My first dog, Sputnik, was a small senior pup who unfortunately passed away at 13 in April of 2026. During the last few years I had with him, I became very accustomed to medication administration and schedules as well as managing his comfort the best I could with the help of my family. My current dog, Daisy, is a younger, bigger, and much more high energy dog than Sputnik was. I think dogs communicate with people much more than most people think, and Daisy is very expressive with her needs and wants and I do my best to listen to her. This often includes a lot of love, cuddles, attention, and allowing her to get all that energy she has out on a daily basis. However, what worked for Sputnik and what works for Daisy may not be what’s best for your dog. Through talking with you and getting to know your dog, we will be able to come up with a plan/schedule that works best for them!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
