I grew up caring for my family's black labs my entire life. I currently own two beautiful baby Shih Tzus, Tony & Guiness with my beautiful fiancé. They add so much joy to our lives and are a big part of our growing family. I invest a lot of time and effort into training them daily, to build trust and give them the best lives possible. Taking care of the animals in my life is a passion of mine, and I treat every pet like it's my own.

Ken was amazing with our dog Benji!!! Benji loves to walk and Ken did an amazing job walking him for the full 30 minutes and getting a lot of Benji’s energy out. He sent lots of pictures and left a great description of how his time was. I would recommend Ken to anyone who needs a reliable dog walker!
Ken was great for our pug puppy's first walk! He was accommodating and super communicative, which made planning easy — a nice change from other local walkers who can be slow to respond. He was responsible with our pup, and she clearly had a great time. Highly recommend!

Ken is a dedicated dog lover and treats all dogs (both big and small) with big doses of kindness and an infinite amount of patience. With a naturally calm and reassuring presence, Ken is an expert at comforting timid or anxious dogs. At the same time, he is good at using firm gentle authority to set appropriate boundaries for bouncy, high-energy pets. These combined strengths allow him to build quick trust and absolute cooperation with your four-legged family member. Ken is currently the proud owner and trainer of two well cared for and amazingly well-behaved Shih Tzu pups. In this role, he has become well versed in puppy training and development. Having grown up with energetic Labradors, he is equally skilled and physically capable of handling large, powerful, or unruly dogs with ease. On walks, Ken has great situational awareness. He pays attention to loose dogs, broken glass and sidewalk hazards to keep your dog safe. I'm sure you'll find Ken is punctual, dependable and highly trustworthy. I have do doubt that he'll treat your furry family member with care and respect.

Schedule
I'm currently making pet care my full time job. After years of training athletes, I'm opting for a career that is rewarding in different ways. I'm available any time Monday through Friday and occasionally a weekend if I'm around and if it's a good fit.

Safety, trust & environment
My apartment complex has many areas to walk outside, with sidewalks and open grass areas where I walk my boys. There is also a spacious indoor dog park in the basement of my complex where I take them to play, especially on rainy days. We do training both indoors and on walks outside, individually and as a family. I also expose my dogs to as many experiences as possible, bringing them to community events, outdoor dining, and social gatherings. Our family does not believe in leaving pets home alone all day every day, and want to give them as much stimulation and social interaction as possible.

A typical day
I treat every dog like my own. I focus on walks (3-5), playing, training reinforcement and having lots of positive interactions. I never leave dogs alone all day so they feel safe and stimulated through their stay.

- I'm very accommodating for your pets as I will treat them like my own. A few things I like to know are what is there temperament and if they're get along with other dogs. Besides that just tell me what like/don't like and whatever will make it be the best experience for them and it will happen. Just want them to be as comfortable and happy as possible while waiting for mom and dad to come home!
