Chris is highly highly recommended - book him with confidence!”

About: Neighbors and friends have relied on me to take care of their dogs for years and I’ve trained and cared for my own dog for 10 years. I’m currently a full time grad student who has class at night. I work an internship Monday-Wednesday, and a part time restaurant job as well on weekend nights. My days are mostly free! I can cater to your needs and do what is needed to keep your dog safe. I believe in safe care for pets and their needs are important to me

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs throughout my life. First as a cat owner, having a beautiful Siamese cat for 22 years. Once married, we adopted a rescue puppy, Bella. She was a loving part of our family from her puppy days through her senior. I will show your fur baby the love and attention you would expect in your absence. I am currently "retired" and have great flexibility to care for your loving pet. I am available to come to your home early in the morning and throughout the day. I will be respectful of your home and offer the attention and care that you would expect for your loving fur baby. Walking, feeding, playing with your pet is my top priority.

“Debra was prompt, sweet with Nala, and excellent with communication. I needed to ajust our walk time due to an emergency in my schedule and Debra stepped up and was happy to help. I would highly recommend her services.”

About: I currently live with 3 dogs and 2 cats. I have decades of experience living with and caring for animals of all kinds, from puppies and kittens to seniors and those with illness and special needs. I am skilled with giving meds, including injections to both cats and dogs, and I have engaged in formal obedience training with own my dogs with professional trainers. I own a business as my primary job and have a fairly flexible schedule. Let me know when you need services and I can usually fit it in to my day or evening. I listen carefully to, and will follow, each client's instructions and preferences, and can reinforce any training the pet is being given. I care for each pet as if they were my own.

About: I’ve always been a dog lover, and have cared for family & friends dogs for years, which is a wonderful feeling to know they trust me to take care of their fur baby. I also have a dog of my own, so I understand the need to always making sure she is safe and happy. I currently work full-time, so I am looking to help care for your pet in the evening or weekends. Of course, I am willing to work out a schedule that makes everyone happy, especially your furry family member. I currently have a dog of my own, who I truly view as my child. With a fenced in yard of my own, I understand the importance of safety and making sure your dog is well exercised and cared for.

“Joselyn is great! My dog has really bad anxiety, but she did great with her. She was so patient and attentive to her needs. Very trustworthy and reliable. Highly recommend.”

About: I’m a very lucky dog mom to Malarkey, who has taught me more than I ever could have imagined. Adopted with a mystery of a history (though it includes getting a long scar across his body and a blinding injury to one eye), Malarkey showed signs of fear reactivity early on. While many online sources instruct us to punish and dominate our dogs, my dog needed a psychologically validating approach. Thankfully it didn’t take long for me to find a community of trainers and owners who have taught me the effective and respectful positive dog training techniques that brought my relationship with my boy to a new level. Life is good with Malarkey and I am eager to expand my knowledge and experience working with all types of dogs- especially the skittish little underdogs like mine. That is why I’m coming back to the pet-sitting career that I know well from my late-childhood/early-adulthood days. I understand a good support system is everything and it’s an honor to be a part of a fellow pet parents’. My current availability: EASTER WEEKEND, Friday-Sunday, I am available! I’m an in home therapist for children in the area so I find myself with windows of availability throughout the day. Most of my availability is morning through midday, but I have client cancellations all the time (kids get sick a lot!) so I often find myself free on weekday afternoons and evenings. It’s worth a try so please send me an inquiry! Weekends I’m likely to be available for 3 or more visits, while on weekdays I’m likely to be available just for one or two. I don’t provide any care in my home. I’ve been a nanny on and off for years so I’m comfortable and respectful in other peoples’ homes. I’m definitely okay with clean-up of any pet-related messes.

“Very pleasant and reliable. Can’t say enough about Yana. When it’s time for Zeus’s walk he sit by the dog waiting eagerly. She is great with my Zeus. Yana is great. I would highly recommend her”

“Excellent service. GinTu loves Brittnay. She's always on time and cares for him like he's her own.”

About: I have had pets of all sorts since I was little and helped take care of even more. From the time I was 7 to high school, my home had fish and 2 parakeets, Flyer and Stripe. My longest living gold fish, Swimmer, was my very first pet at 7 years old and almost saw me graduate high school. I was taught from a young age how to care for these animals and helped in the maintenance of their habitats. It was my job to clean the parakeet's cage (with adult supervision), give them fresh water and food, and dedicate time in my day to enrich their lives. The last one was always the easiest part as I loved seeing them play. Since college I raised 2 Havanese puppies, Manny and Mo. They were potty trained, exposed to new visitors in the home, and taught tricks. When I moved out of my parents, I knew my home would not be a home without a furry friend and eventually adopted Scarlett, my first cat. A few years after this girl convinced me I was ready for my second cat, Sophie. In between all of my own pets, I have pet sitted for friends, family, and neighbors. Golden retrievers, parrots, bunnies, labradors, pitbulls, and have loved each and every one of them. I would like to continue this level of care for your family members and show them that they will be cared for until you return. Currently, this line of work is my main goal. I will be looking to fill as much of my time caring for your family members. As of now I have no explicit time during the week which I am unavailable. Please contact me for times and we can discuss what is on my schedule the days when you need me most. I currently offer caring for your pet at your home. I can also stay overnight for pets who require that extra level of care. I am flexible to multiples visits or staying with them at all times. It all depends on what you need and your pet need to have the best care.

“Miranda was great! My dog absolutely loved her. She was super organized with our meet and greet and took plenty of notes which I loved. I will definitely be using her again.”

About: I had a 14 year old pitbull that was my primary responsibility since we got him as a puppy. I have also dog sat for friends in the past including puppies and a senior dog that was deaf and blind. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and make it a priority. Whether it’s starting the day with a morning walk, stopping by for a midday check-in, or winding down with some evening playtime, I plan my schedule to make sure pets get the attention and care they need. I’m flexible and committed, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. When I stay in your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I’d want in mine. I follow your pet’s routine closely — from mealtimes and walks to medications and bedtime rituals — to keep them comfortable and happy while you’re away. I’ll also keep things clean, send regular updates, and handle any extras like mail or plants if needed. My goal is to make your time away stress-free, knowing your pet (and home) are in great hands.

He's been able to skillfully execute many tasks, including both oral and injectable medications, getting picky pets to eat and helping animals overcome fear and anxiety. 11. Alyssa D.
“I've known Alyssa for over ten years. I've watched her give loving care to every animal she's come in contact with: my own cat and dog, her neighbor's, or her own. Alyssa is genuinely dedicated to understanding animals and providing them with healthy and positive interactions. She's protective over them, and empathetic to their feelings. She has a whole stack of books she's read on training dogs and dog's nutritional needs. She lives happily with her own puppy and two cats, and she trained her parent's dog too. I would recommend Alyssa over other Rover candidates because she is easygoing, kind, understanding, and patient above all else. Her love for animals is the shining focal point of her personality. She takes her dog to her parents' every time her HOA sprays pesticides, has done research on which type of toys are the safest for her animals to play with, and taught her childhood dog agility. This is someone who will go above and beyond to do what she feels is right, even though other people might think it's inconvenient.”
