About: Hi! My name is Emily. I am full time Physician Assistant working Sunday-Tuesday nights. I always have said that in another life I would be dedicating my life to animals and not humans haha. I’m mostly a homebody with 2 small dogs and 1 cat myself, and have had experience with dogs my entire life. We had 3 dogs pass away in our family and are very experienced with puppies to seniors. I also foster with an animal rescue pretty often and have had 8-10 foster puppies under my care in the last 3 years. I do live with family who are available to help out as well. I can take your dog for short and long walks around your neighborhood or in my complex. They’ll be able to feel at home as they are allowed on All furniture. I typically walk my dogs at least 3 times a day and during the warmer season we often go to dog parks or just for a long walk near the canal. i look forward to meeting you! I currently work night shifts in the hospital and so that actually gives me more flexibility and allows me to be available more often. Don’t worry, I have family at home that will be supervising your pup overnight, they will never be left alone in the night! From Wed-Saturdays I’m off work and so I can dedicate all my time to your pups needs! I have rules for when new pups enter my home. They will always eat in a separate area than my own dogs to make sure there are no accidents and no pressure around eating. Playing in the beginning will be supervised. Other than that, I will not crate your dog unless you prefer that. I will treat them like my own dog for the time they are with me!

About: When a dog stays at my house I treat them as if they were my own. I have years of experience watching my sisters' dogs years ago which snowballed me into watching dogs for my coworkers, other family members and Rover clients. I have two cats who play scared but are really just dramatic and curious when a pup comes in. If your dog isn’t cat friendly I would leave them in my room and gate the dog in the kitchen when I’m not home for any reason but otherwise he will have the kitchen and entire living room with me. I work night shifts from home, so when I have your pup the longest he will be alone is an hour or two for an errand run. I always walk around my complex even when not sitting a dog, so your pup will always get good walking time with me. I have a part time job 3 days out of the month that requires 9 hours out of the house. If that day falls in between your pups visit I will let you know. I take out dogs often and have lots of park/walking area in my complex. The complex I live in is pet friendly with little car traffic.
